Everyone was very punctual and helpful. The process was explained well. The price was good. The back granite piece to the bar had a cutout for the sink, but it was cut incorrectly. It was noticed when they came out to install it. They immediately had a new piece cut in a few hours and corrected the problem. Great service!

They were great. Helped us pick stone and edges. This was a big job and they were competitive and sis a phenomenal job!

They have a good selection of Granit and it appears to be good quality. The prices are a bit high but reasonable. The sales staff is nice. We ended up buying granite for our kitchen. Installation and customer service afterwards are the issue. Unfortunately, when the guy came to make the templates he was not clear that some of the wall cabinets should be removed so the countertops could be installed. Keep in mind the cabinets were installed by the cabinet makers who were also never told by Absolute that having them installed might be an issue. So after two weeks of waiting for countertops, the installers show up and say that they cannot install one of the countertops and that the cabinets need removing. Then the lying started, the installers indicated they could come back whenever we got the cabinets taken down, oh but they did not mention the additional installation cost. Oh and the guy who came to make the templates insisted he told my wife that "those cabinets need to be taken down." So when my cabinet installer was able to coordinate a day where he could come in the morning to take down the cabinets and wait for Absolute to install the countertop so he could then reinstall the cabinets, Absolute's installers were 45 minutes late. Then they were in no hurry to get it done as it was their only installation for the day. So they made everyone sit on their hands while they took nearly 2 hours to install one countertop! I would not recommend this company for your countertop needs. I warn friends to avoid this company at all costs.

The selection of various brands/companies who made Quartz counter tops was good. We did a lot of homework before we made our selection. The price was a bit high, but we got the color and the install we wanted. We had to buy a full slab, but they did give us the remnants. The guy who did the measurements was very professional and he took his time to make sure it was right. The install was good and quick, however it was only 4 pieces, plus 4 back splash. One of the 4" back splash was about 1/8" too long and they went out to their truck and made it right. We are very pleased with Absolute and their products offered and install.

They were an A+. They were a thousand dollars more than the company we went with. Their service was really good. For someone who cares about service a lot, it is worth it.

They did good work, it just didn't work out for us, they did some grout refurbishment in our kitchen but our sub-floor underneath had too much movement. So the new grout popped up, but that wasn't their issue. They did good service for what they did, but long term it didn't work out for us because we had other issues. We ended up having the floor replaced, and we were happy with the work they did and it looked great, and the issue with our floor was not their fault. Their customer service is really good and they're really good on explaining things and their pricing and stuff. They were good about calling me back. They were a pretty good company for what they did.

I went to MANY granite companies for bids and not only was Absolute very competitive, Sander just has a great personality. The pricing, granite slab options, and the great reviews sold me on the company. Sander was very patient with my millions of questions and responded quickly when I sent email. Doug came to do my template about two weeks after I put my deposit down. He was very professional and informative. My install came two weeks later. Jason and DJ were fantastic. My old countertops really put up a fight, but they conquered them! My new countertops are beautiful. I'm very happy with the whole process, and would recommend them, highly!

The process was very smooth. They came out and measured in order to create a template, I went to the showroom so that I could pick exactly what I wanted, and then they came out and installed it in a timely manner. The installers were very professional and courteous. I was very happy with the entire process.

A friend encouraged me to use absolute, or at least obtain a quote from them as her experience was so positive. I met with John initially in the show room who was very helpful and informative. He was up front with cost, and then met me at the stone/ marble wholesale warehouse to assist me with deciding on which Danby Marble slab that would work best in my home. John made sure everything went well throughout the design, estimate and purchase process. He was great. Marble is in and is perfection. The corners, the cut to the farm house sink is exact and better than I imagined. I was as impressed with the customer service as I was with the product and installation, throughout the process. I cannot say enough about the service at this place. Vicki S. is phenomenal. She is prompt, responsive and organized. I must have emailed and/ or called Vicki 30 times with various questions or clarification during the process. She patiently answered every question, and even emailed me from NYC while she was out of town! That is service- and she made it seem like it was no big deal to reply to my email? that is what they do at Absolute. Chad, Jay, Luis and Doug were great too- super knowledgable and prompt. The friendliest team and patient I have worked with in home remodeling- ever. I cannot say enough about the service. So, we had a pipe leak and have been without a kitchen for 12 weeks. Chad, the installer, heard me telling my daughter this morning that everything would be hooked up for us to be able to cook this evening- she was thrilled. Unfortunately, our carpenter could not come over as scheduled at 4PM to hook up the stove, due to being ill. When Chad heard me telling my friend about the situation, and me asking if there was anyone they knew who could help, Chad offered to come back after his work day was completed to hook up the stove. Our child, who takes everything literally, will be so thrilled,' I thought. This kid has been counting the days and hours until we can cook and eat together in the kitchen. I thought that was above and beyond fabulous customer service. I could not believe how nice he was to offer. Chad said, "You can't let her down, she has been waiting, and I overheard you telling her today, so we can't break a promise." Very cool. Last, this example of customer service takes the cake?. I was in Chicago with my daughter for a doctor appointment with Chicago Children's Hospital, and the floor company called me with a problem. This was the worst timing...My husband was in a closed door meeting at work and unable to assist. The problem was, the floor company could not remove the existing granite from the island and move it in order to install the floor. I called Absolute and someone heard the concern about the process being delayed another month, so she got JR on the phone. I briefly explained the situation. JR said, "Please give me your cell phone number and address again, and all trucks and teams are out already for the day, but I will see what I can do. If you do not hear back from me by 12 noon, consider it done, and I will go or someone will, and remove whatever is needed and they can proceed." I was stunned with pleasant surprise. I never heard back from JR, and the floor people called and asked me what company I was working with, as they were awesome. Nevertheless, the floor was placed on time, followed by the cabinets etc.. and then the countertops. Customer Service is truly a lost art today, except with this company. I would recommend them to anyone looking to have any stone or tile work done. The product, template, install and follow up is superb. More that that, the service is impeccable. If I could give an A+++ I would. Thank you so much! I hope the 2-3 specific examples shared in this very long review, are shared with the staff. These guys (and girls, especially Vicki) are dedicated to customer service. I love my kitchen! Thanks!

My husband and I were novices at choosing granite and since this was such a major purchase, we spent many hours investigating and driving around to talk with different granite fabricators. We found Absolute through Angies List, and since they were highly rated we stopped by to check them out. From the moment we walked through the door we were treated with honesty and with courtesy. John was extremely helpful as he walked us through the process, yet he was never condescending. The consultation, quote, templating, and installation went without a hitch. Each person in the process was a professional in their own right. They went out of their way to ensure our project went smoothly and was completed in a professional and timely manner. They arrived to each appointment on time and even allowed us to reschedule numerous times without complaint due to unexpected conflicts with out flooring subcontractors. John, the designer, walked us through the order, helping us determine which edges and rounds we wanted and where. He reminded us of choices we had not thought of and gave good advice, but was never overbearing. The templater worked with us in our home to finalize the layout. He took his time and ensured we had the corners we wanted and the seams in the right locations. We never felt rushed or embarrassed when changing our minds. The installers were very professional and efficient. One installer was even able to produce a corner for an awkward cabinet location that had been overlooked during fabrication. It ended up looking better than I had originally planned. Our biggest worry was the seam we were going to have in a prominent location. He made the seam almost invisible to the eye by drawing the two sides together and matching the seam color to the granite perfectly. In addition to all of this, they were the least expensive of all the fabricators we spoke with. Overall, I would highly recommend Absolute to anyone looking for a granite fabricator. They are able to take the stress out of what can be a very stressful event.

I got them off Angie's List. They were great. They were cheerful. They were reasonable and they did a good job. I was very pleased. It was all perfect.

We met with Mike and selected a slab of flat black honed granite in February. We didn't start the renovation (kitchen and family room) until March 16. Near the end of March, Chad came by and made a template for the hearth using foamcore. This morning (April 13) Chad came by with two other guys and they did the installation. It looks perfect. Everything was professional from start to finish. For example, the slab we selected was a tiny bit shy of the depth we needed - Chad called and explained the situation and proposed a solution. Turns out when the slab was installed everything was perfect. We were called in advance of the template making and installation dates. Chad was on time and incredibly thorough. Terrific experience - if we had more fireplaces, we'd give absolute more work!

This was an excellent experience from the initial contact to the installation. They arrived promptly for the measurements and installation and were always professional and courteous. After the installation, they followed up to ensure that we were happy with the work. The countertops are beautiful. I was impressed with this company and would highly recommend them.

The owner called us to schedule an estimate the day following our request through Angie's list. He stands behind the labor and quality of materials 100%. Great company to work with. Very prompt and job completed as stated.

Wonderful! I checked out a few companies in the area and Absolute was by far the friendliest and most helpful. At first they didn't have a remnant that really worked for what I wanted but I knew they were the company I wanted to use so I held out. When my husband and I first came in on a Friday afternoon the owner, Sander, was the only one there and looked like he was on his way out, without hesitation he put his things down to walk us through the remnants, even after I offered to come back another time. He couldn't have been nicer. A few weeks later I emailed him to see if I could see if they had anything new, he referred me to Lisa, who met me within the hour. She was wonderfully friendly and helpful and did not rush me at all as I picked through the pieces. After a final visit we made our selection, and Lisa gave us some advice to help us get the dates we wanted for the template and install. Scheduling was equally as friendly and everyone seemed to be trying to get me exactly what I wanted. I wasn't sure the treatment I would get from anyplace with such a small project, and I didn't really expect to be treated as if I was doing an entire Kitchen, but everyone at Absolute treated our project as if it was their top priority!

Absolute did an absolutely wonderful job on our counter tops! All of the employees we met were extremely professional, and the price seemed very reasonable. We relied heavily on Angie's List reviews, but did stop by two other businesses to compare. We think we picked the best. They were very responsive, and did a great job in recommending granite that would match our new cabinets. They were here when they said they would be, and the installation went very well. We trusted their employees to do the layout, so we did not check the stones before they were cut. All of the cuts are beautiful. Overall, it was a great experience!

We looked at several installers on Angies List. After talking to all and finding the slabs we wanted at Dal Tile we opted to go with Absolute. Initially they showed us the whole process including the shop where they cut and work the granite.The prices were all very close but we chose Absolute because of the way they walked us through the process. Initially I was a little concerned because they use another contractor to do the tearout and re installation of the plumbing etc. It actually turned out to be a plus because John, (the tearout person) gave us some really good ideas as to sinks colors faucets ets. He actually fixed some issues we had since building the house we did not even know we had. All in all an excellent experience. He even came out Saturday to do the hookups because he wanted us to have water. It took 1 day longer for the install because the installers were not happy with one corner. We couldn't really see the issue but they did and it had to be perfect. It is. This is an example of dealing with true craftsmen. It was fascinating to see them do the layout.Quite frankly I was interested to see how this all came out because I was on youtube and saw the way some do it with lazers. Where the true art came in is when they lay out the stone. Our slabs had a lot of movement (color differences). The art comes in when you cut stone like that to match up the seams. That has to be done by an expert. Lazers don't see this.They did an amazing job. This ability would not be as important in stone that was uniform, but in the higher end granite it is essential. The whole process was excellent. I am glad I found these people on Angies List. Was the first time i used the service for something this big. Paid for itself. It was fairly expensive and we wanted it done right the first time. It was. If you are looking to get granite counter tops the first thing you do is find the slabs. Most installers have some in stock but it is worth the effort to find exactly what you want. Then pick your installer.Absolute is awesome. Arrange for tearout of currrent counter tops. Next comes the installers.Day 1 countertops. Day 2 back splashes.What ever you do is have Absolute on your short list. You won't be disappointed.

It was done by Absolute. They were really good. I would definitely recommend them. They were responsive and their quality was very good. They had a really nice selection of granite. They were able to get through the job very quickly, pretty quickly.

Everything went as promised. Sander, Lisa and all of the workers were friendly, professional and very helpful in picking out the right stone for my room colors. Counters were completed ahead of promised date and fit perfectly. The Absolute team exceeded my expectations and I have already recommended them to a friend.
