We bought our home and the contractor that remodeled the home had hired RAM to install a new roof. There were issues from the beginning. The project took months longer than it should. They didn't show up when they said they would, left tools and ladders in our back yard. There were always excuses, i.e. didn't have a tall enough ladder (once it was in our back yard for weeks and they just forgot), couldn't get the supplies in, one or more worker was out on some kind of leave, death in the family, etc. They left trash, cigarette butts and building material waste in our yard and on our roof. It was an absolute nightmare. One day we even noticed the employee's wife crawling up to the third floor with a big gulp soda to help. Unprofessional and downright scary. When we had issues with the roof a few months later, it was the same problems in the beginning. We couldn't get anyone to hold down an appointment, it was a complete joke. The owners would either make promises they didn't keep or ignore our calls. Our roof leaked and our top floor was ruined. They attached part of the roof to a piece of wood that was rotted and it didn't hold when we had a storm. The night our roof leaked, we had water running down the walls on the top floor so we called RAM. We told them water was pouring in. They sent a worker over who had his wife and small children waiting in the car. My husband got into an argument with the roofer and the employee began ripping up the roofing tarp he had put down out of anger. He called my husband every name in the book. I eventually called the police it got so bad. Worst experience ever. Not just unprofessional, but hateful. Would not trust them for the simplest of jobs. STAY AWAY. The owner never called or returned calls during or after the event. I was just grateful when the night was over. My husband video recorded the whole ugly incident on his phone when the roofer went on a rampage on our roof.

After 3 days of being told someone was coming to our house and no one showing up, and after they started ignoring our calls, we threatened them with exposure to BBB and a lawyer. They showed up 15 minutes later. Amazing that they got there so fast only after we had to resort to threats. I am sure that because our roof was under warranty, and they weren't going to get paid for the job was the main reason they kept avoiding us. Maybe if they had done the job right the first time, or the second time, or the third time, they wouldn't have had to come back again. Our warranty is now up, and we're actually happy about that, because in no situation would we EVER use RAM Roofing again. I'd advise everybody to avoid RAM Roofing at all costs.

It was an incredible experience. They really got all the details right. They relined my dish net without me having to spend extra money. They did a great job of cleaning up after themselves. They left the work space spotless. They had great communication skills. In addition the owner offered his own address, email, and home phone if I had any problems. so he made me feel very comfortable. His Price was the second best I got and his service was the best I have had from any contractor.

Rob came out twice to look at my roof as the first time is was still a little wet and slippery. He took pictures and explained where the probable cause was. He suggested caulking where the water was coming in as a repair to the roof until it needed to be replaced in 5 to 7 years. He also offered the option of replacing the shingles and reworking the flashing, but that would be considerably more expensive.

It went pretty good. I would have liked them to work a little faster. They didn't show up on the day they said they would, but other than that they were pretty consistent.

With such an involved and complex job, I expected RAM Roofing would take much longer, but it took them two days. They removed all work debris after and they did a good job cleaning up after themselves.
