 + -1 moreMy brakes stopped working properly about three blocks from my home. Managed to make it home and contacted AAA. They have a two hour appointment window. They took all the information ( to determine if needed flatbed tow based on car model etc and how to enter my apartment gated parking lot). The road assistance service provider called me back within 30 minutes stating the tow driver would be there in approximately 45 minutes. The tow operator was finishing up with another customer and would call me when he arrived in front of my apartment building. The tow operator arrived within 40 minutes and called me while I was waiting inside my apartment. [Contacted AAA approx. 8:10 a.m. Tow operator arrived approx. 9:25 a.m.]. The tow operator was very courteous, polite and fast. There was a major backup onto the highway (all traffic dead stopped) so we took a few side roads before re entering the highway. Tow driver knew roads like back of hand. We arrived quickly and safely. He advised me all I had to do was go to Service Counter at dealership and he would park car and meet me at counter with the keys. Which he did. He helped make a hectic day less stressful.
Description of Work: I pay a yearly fee for road service with AAA. Towing is included. My brakes stopped working and AAA towed me approximately 15 miles from my home to the dealership for repairs. They were easy to reach, timely, professional and courteous, making the towing process less stressful.

Description of Work: As always, AAA was prompt, efficient and did the job without any snags. Since, I have premium AAA auto service insurance, the job was done without further cost to me. I enfer hesitate to renew fmy AAA coverage.

 + -1 moreWe are currently still fighting to get our home repaired. The adjuster came out and said that they would only pay for the damaged part of siding, which had already been done and it is two different colors!!!! So I called a contractor from Angies List that I had used on several projects and he came out and wrote up an estimate that it CAN NOT BE Matched! I faxed this to them 3 times and called well they did not receive the fax, the people working in the fax department don't work on weekends, Gave me the number to the claims Supervisor Craig, left him several messages and no response!!! Was told that our actual agent has been out since Oct. 2011 on medical leave they don't know who is taking care of her clients!!!! I just want my house fixed I dont expect extra but I Should Not have to lower the value of my home because they dont want to honor my policy!!!!! I promise once this is done even i cant get it done correctly I will be putting it out there how AAA took care of me!!!!
Description of Work: We have had AAA for our home and Autos for 40 years filed very few claims. However a few years back we had a hail storm that broke several pieces of our siding they paid to fix just the broken pieces so we called and they told us it could be matched!!! We now have 2 colors of siding on our home. Well last month we had another hail storm, and we use a contractor we obtained through Angies list and he inspected it and told us it could not be matched due to age of siding. So we have called to find out our agent has been off since Oct. 2011 on medical leave!, so we get passed to this one and that one, we have even left several messages to the claim Supervisor Craig and have yet to get a call. I want my house fixed correctly!!!! They have brought down the value of my home and now they want to bring it down further, but they are not lowering my premiums!!!!!! I want this matter addressed and then I will be canceling my policy and going else where if this is the way they treat 40 years worth of customers then I dont need their service.My advice is if you get AAA make sure you check them out. They are rated #1 well let me tell you first hand that is false they a very poor quaility in my book not only from handeling my claim, but to returning calls and fixing the problem. Do I recommend them sure if never have to file a claim but if you do, forget it they are F in my book.

 + -1 moreWe were able to walk into this travel agency on a Sat. morning and be taken care of promptly. Without being pushy Carol was able to ascertain our preferences and make several recommendations. We were given books on the various available cruises and after only a few brief phone calls the arrangements were made. Carol advised us on plane tickets so that we arrived in plenty of time. She also gave us advice on transportation from the airport to the ship. All of our paperwork was taken care and sent to us. The trip went off without a hitch. I would certainly use this travel agency again.
Description of Work: We were looking for a cruise without having any previous experience with cruising. Carol was able to give us choices based on cost, itinerary and scheduling. After one meeting and a few phone calls, we were booked on a cruise and an air flight to the departure point. The paperwork was taken care of and the trip went very smoothly.

 + -1 moreThey sent an official AAA tow truck and they asked me if I wanted them to test it and they found that one of the cells in my battery was dead and they sold me a battery and it has been fine now. I was impressed, they've always been really nice and incredibly helpful.
Description of Work: I called them to tow the car to the mechanic because it was dead and would not take a jump.
