wallpaper removal
 + -1 moreA Woman's Touch did not contact me for two weeks. By then I had already chosen a contractor and the work had just begun.
Description of Work: I needed wallpaper removed and the walls prepped and painted. My house is for sale. My realtor's opinion is that the wallpaper was a detriment to the sale of the house.

Description of Work: Rhonda has done an amazing job in my living room. I had extensive termite damage and she rebuilt walls and finished the window jams, built moldings and casings around them and is now building built in bookshelves and a window seat. Her work is impeccable, the mess, nonexistent, the results fantastic. For anyone who is particular, this is the designer, carpenter, painter, drywaller for you!!!

 + -1 moreSHE DIDN'T FOLLOW SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS, SAID THE JOB WOULD BE DONE IN 3 DAYS, DIDN'T FINISH FOR 3 WEEKS. I ASKED HER TO KEEP THE ORIGINAL HINGES ON THE DOOR, BECAUSE IT IS THE ORIGINAL 1930'S DOOR. SHE WENT OUT AND BOUGHT THESE NASTY LOOKING SPRING LOADED HINGES, WHICH REQUIRED DRILLING THROUGH MY DOOR. I HAD TO PATCH AND FILL THE HOLES AND HAVE HER PUT UP THE RIGHT HINGES. HER BROTHER CAME TO HELP HER ONE DAY AND HE HUNG MY BATHROOM MIRROR ABOVE THE TOILET, NOT THE SINK. THEN I HAD OTHER HOLES TO FIX BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T OFFER TO REPLACE THE BEADBOARD. HER BROTHER ALSO HAD ONE OF MY ANTIQUE DOORS LOADED IN HIS TRUCK AND HE WAS ABOUT TO TAKE IT FROM US. THERE WERE LOTS OF OTHER PROBLEMS, AS WELL. IT WAS REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE. SHE OVER STEPPED HER BOUNDARIES AND DIDN'T DO AS WE ASKED.
Description of Work: SPACKLED CEILING IN KITCHEN, HUNG A STORM DOOR, REMOVED LEAD PAINT FROM ANOTHER DOOR FRAME, HUNG A MIRROR IN THE BATHROOM IN THE BASEMENT, ALSO PAINTED OUTSIDE TRIM AND INTERIOR KITCHEN.
