Service person was knowledgeable and honest

Excellent. Serviceman was prompt and friendly and spent time on my steep roof to adjust and readjust until I had coverage for all channels. Also added additional parts to get better coverage.

Determined the work needed would exceed worth of TV so I chose not to have TV repaired.

Service tech was thorough and kept me fully informed what he was doing. He did everything according to code and left my home in good order. He was pleasant and worked efficiently and as quickly as possible without cutting corners.

Scheduling was easy and the tech arrived right as scheduled, prepared with everything he needed. Final price was very close to estimate so there were no surprises to my budget.

Jerry spent a great deal of time here and tried a number of things, but was totally puzzled because he couldn't solve the problem. I'm at a loss as to what to do. I know he did his best but there's something that seems unsolvable.

Jerry and his team were troopers working under the circumstances I gave them. I needed an attic antenna installed in my trilevel condo. I'm a teacher, and I couldn't take off. I had a neighbor help him out, but he was able to text and call me, even when my kids decided to have fight with books in the library. He installed the antenna, fished wires all the way down to the basement, installed a new technology called Tablo, an OTA DVR, so we didn't have to split the signal, and then came back to run CAT5 cabling to my third floor so my WIFI signal was stronger up there. They successfully helped me cut the cord and get rid of cable for good. He cleaned up after himself and even cut me a little break because he broke a lamp I had to replace. He made sure my cat didn't leave the house, and he did excellent work. I will not hesitate to recommend them or use them again for any need like this. So glad I found them here!

Great. Jerry from A-1 arrived right on time, completed the work exactly as needed in 90 minutes and I am getting superb reception on every TV.

Everything was great. The appointment was scheduled promptly and the technician arrived on table. He was polite and informative. He took the time to explain everything and even helped set-up some additional hardware I purchased. He stuck around to ensure everything worked properly before he left.

Just fine. A bit of an upcharge for the brick, and the price assumes you have the bracket or buy it from them.

Great service. Jerry was punctual and professional. After our new tv had been mounted and all the wiring put in place, turned out the new tv was broken! Jerry came back later in the day (after we exchanged the broken tv) and mounted/connected the new tv. He refused to charge for the extra time he spent on our service. The work was great, and we are extremely satisfied. Would definitely recommend this company.

It went fine. I still had to buy a digital converter box and it was twice as much as the installer said it would be.

Antenna was installed and connected to the appropriate room outlets. The installer recommended not putting the unit in the attic but instead on the roof. I declined despite the risk of less than ideal reception. The install took a couple hours, but it was worth it. Reception improved significantly for all channels. My only issue is communicating by email with this company can be slow and inconsistent. Sometimes I got a quick response and other times it would take days.

They were punctual and on time in first service call and returned it within a few days repaired. they called to inform me of cost to repsir before they completed the job.

After years of being hostage, wanted to cut the cable with Charter and go back to free Over the Air TV. I researched websites and found great information online on how to calculate the correct antenna I would need and what direction to point it to pull in the stations I wanted. Antenna boxes are supposed to be color-coded so that you can choose the correct one based on distance to the weakest station. I went to Radio Shack, Best Buy, and Amazon, and nobody knew what I was talking about. I called A-1 Antenna and spoke with Danny, who asked my address, went to his computer, and immediately told me I needed an antenna coded for the Blue Zone. At last! Somebody who knew what I was talking about! He told me what he had that would work, what it would cost, and he could come within a week. He quoted me a price of $280 plus tax ahead of time, and I accepted. It wasn't until I checked the price of the antenna itself after he was finished that I felt that maybe it was too much, because the invoice said $79.99 for a Winegard HD 4400 antenna, and it is listed on Winegard's site for $21.95. And they have now discontinued it completely. In all fairness, I am not sure what anybody else would have charged. He probably had to drive at least 25 miles to my house, and it is two stories tall. He was right on time, too. But we had a little problem with communication and he ended up literally cutting the cable right then and there so he could splice into the part running into the house. I had not wanted him to do that, as I wanted to compare reception, and I also had not replaced all my old analog recording equipment yet, so I was immediately left high and dry as far as recording went. That's also when I discovered that although KETC channel 9.1 had a crystal clear picture on the antenna, I could not get the audio. And it happens to be the channel we watch 50% of the time... He told me I needed an signal booster, but it turned out to be a technical problem with the encoder at the station. The engineers at KETC had run into this problem before with people who have Sony Bravia TVs and had to get a software upgrade to fix it. Still, Danny was Far, FAR better than any of the usual places to get antennas, and he came in exactly on the estimate. He is certainly one of the few people I have found that knows how to install the RIGHT antenna the first time, and aim it properly, too! Plus he is a nice guy and helpful. Everything went smoothly. A-1 Antenna TV service arrived at my home when they said they would be and, although the TV was on the second floor of the house, the two men carried our old 3-in-1 television down two flights of stairs, out the front door and down two more flights of stairs to get to their service truck. The television was repaired within the time quoted and returned to our home with the same men patiently carrying our old (and heavy!) television up two flights of stairs to our porch; then up another two flights of stairs to the second floor of the house. They hooked up the television, tested it to be certain it was operating, and left. I appreciate the quality of A-! Antenna TV's service. Their price was fair and the turnaround time from the moment the set left our home to its return was well within the estimated time that was initially quoted. When I need service, I will call A-1 Antenna TV again.

A-1 Antenna TV Service Company were phenomenal. They got my TV done sooner than they said they would be able to get it done, they were prompt, they were gracious, they were very nice, very helpful, explained a lot of things to me, and the owner gave me a coaxial line much longer than the last one I had since that is why my TV broke. We had shopped around looking for service and were not excited about what was available until we contacted A-1 and found that they serviced Mitsubishi.. I knew that A-1 has been in business for a long time in St Louis and has an excellent reputation for quality service and value. DLP TV's are high performance products. I expected a high repair cost and believed going in that we would have to junk it and move down to one of the LCD or plasma TV's. A-1 made one trip to our home to look at the TV and evaluate it when it was hooked up. A second trip to pick it up, and a third trip to drop it off after repair. Each time they arrived when they said they would, were very professional and knowledgeable and did not waste a minute of our time. The estimate was thorough and accurate. Considering that It needed major repairs and two major parts, I was suprised that the estimate was as low as it was. They even offered to loan me a big screen while we waited for parts. They answered all of our questions and gave us very good advice about what to do and how to operate the TV to get the best performance from it. It's been 6 months since they dropped it off and it is working great. We highly recommend A-1 Antenna for TV repair and will ask them to repair any of our electronics in the future.

The picture on our 2.5 year old 55-inch Samsung LCD TV went out while watching it over a weekend. Called A-1 at 8:45 Monday morning and got an estimate. They had it picked up by 10:00, figured out the problem within 48 hours (a slightly bigger problem than thought (a whole power board vs. just a capicator), so $100 more than the estimate. They had to order the part, but had the whole thing completed in a week and a half and delivered immediately when finished. Professional service, great interactions, recommend highly!

The appointment process with A-1 TV Antenna was pleasant and efficient. I was able to get a same-week appointment. The technician arrived on time, knew what he was doing, and completed the installation ahead of schedule. He explained everything to me, programmed both of my televisions, and even updated other components in my system. My TV picture is excellent, and the recent storms in St. Louis did not affect my reception at all. I am very pleased to be free of cable and satellite forever. I will never pay for television again.
