It did not end well! We call and had a different company come out and give a quote. Much cheaper and better professional service. Recieved a text from ower late in the evening after 10PM calling my husband a worthless piece of **** and a *****! All because we went with another business.

As above, I called a local HVAC GUY that is not on your site, he fixed and repaired our unit,replaced filters, and even tested our other main Heat Pump. We saved over $5000 dollars and it was done within 2 days..

Everything is working as should be.

Someone showed up within 45 minutes, on a Saturday...the tech was very knowledgeable and will be back in a couple days to move the duct work around and do some installation work.

What I liked is that when I called them the next day, they remembered who I was and remember what they did. I don't recall anything bad. I thought it was great. I thought they were great.

I have 2 AC units in my home and neither was working. I called Tom's on Sunday 6/1 and was unable to speak with anyone.. No one returned my call so I again attempted to contact Tom's Monday 6/2 in the morning. When no one had returned my call by that afternoon I called again and was able to speak with someone who told me someone would be at my house Tuesday 6/3 at 4 PM. They were very accommodating to my schedule as I work nights and do not get up until late afternoon. No one showed up at my home Tuesday as scheduled and I did not receive a call either. I called several times Tuesday to see about rescheduling and my calls were never answered. Over the next few days I called Tom's several times and left multiple voicemails. Someone did call me back Friday 6/6 in the morning and asked about coming to the house. I was away from home when I received the call and told them I could be there in 30 minutes. When I arrived home the technician was at my house and was already looking at my AC units. The first unit had a bad compressor. I was quoted a cost for replacement, but the unit is small and just cools an addition that was built onto the house so I chose not to replace it. The second unit was low on Freon and a wire had become detached. The technician reattached the wire and filled the Freon. The technician that came to my home was very friendly and I never felt pressured to replace the bad unit. When coming into my home he removed his shoes. He also stayed to make sure the AC was working correctly before he left. My only real complaint surrounds the difficulty in getting a hold of someone and the lack of responsiveness initially. Once I received the return call on Friday 6/6 I have been nothing but pleased.

I just finished paying them. When we call, they have been able to respond the same day, and complete the work that day, or the next day or two, depending if it was a part that needed to be replaced, or purchased.

Tyson arrived within one hour of my call. He was very polite and professional and explained what he was doing to fix the A/C. A very positive experience.

Had to come back more than once to fully resolve issue but got the job done and did not charge me for second trip. Also they were prompt in responding and showing up

Company offered what appeared to be a reasonable option for replacement. However, the replacement unit was smaller in capacity than the unit that was replaced and replacement unit can't keep up on hot days. Company no longer responds to requests to discuss.

I chose Tom's because of the excellent service they have provided to my parents for many years. I have not been disappointed! They provide yearly maintenance on my A/C and furnace, and when I call for service Tyson always answers and arranges to come out that very day or the next day. They are punctual and professional, and I have always felt they are honest with me about options and pricing. After working on my ancient furnace for two winters, I knew it was time for a new one. Tyson was more than willing to give me an on-the-spot estimate to replace it during a regular maintenance visit. On the day of the install, they actually called me to say they could come earlier and had the work done within 2 hours. It was the easiest home improvement project ever! It's also very gratifying to work with a business that remembers who you are. Whenever I call, Tyson knows exactly who I am and even asks after my family. It's little things like this that make me a dedicated customer.

I had just moved to St. Joseph and needed a new heater. After contacting two separate HVAC companies multiple times and getting no return calls, I called Toms. The tech, Tyson, called and arranged an appointment for the next day. He arrived at the appointed time and within the day I had a written quote and total explanation of the options available to me. Within a week I had the unit installed and running. I could not have been any happier with the service and professionalism of Tyson and the company.

Everything with Toms ALWAYS goes well and according to price and plan as explained well in advance.

He came out to my house to fix my air conditioning unit. They installed a $200 part for our unit and only charged us $60 for the service call. A few weeks later the unit went out again and they came out to take a look one more time. They said that to fix the unit it would be an expensive replacement, so I decided not to go with it. They were extremely nice and I would use them again in the future.

Fabulous. We have been using Toms Heating and Cooling for 20 years and have never had anything but a great experience.
