+ -1 moreThe Safelite AutoGlass technician was prompt and professional. He verified the appointment time and I was sent a picture of the technician prior to his arrival to my home. I got a feeling of safety and security by knowing what the tech would look like. The technician arrived on time. Once he arrived, he went to work and had the windshield replaced in not time.
Description of Work: We have used Safelite AutoGlass several times. They replaced the windshield in one car twice and in another once.

+ -1 moreThe technician showed up, and starting saying he didn't think it was covered because it wasn't a straight line crack. He took pictures with his phone and said he had to call his manager and see if it was covered or not. Of course, the manager said it was not covered because it could have been an impact. Which it was NOT. I would have most definately noticed if something hit my windshield right in front of my face while I was driving!! Safelite would not agree to give us the benefit of the doubt, and just replace it and keep a very good customer happy. We've had 3 windshields replaced and paid for in the last year on all our vehicles. He put the cowl vents back on, and the windshield wipers and then left.
Description of Work: Windshield was replaced with a lifetime warranty for defects in manufacture, installation, or labor. Original was put in on 3/2011, and the windshield cracked while sitting in my driveway... not moving at all. Called their 800# for info. on wether the windshield was covered by warranty. Was told it was as long as it wasn't an impact. I told her what happened, and it clearly was not hit by an impact. Scheduled for them to come out and replace the windshield. They did come out for the appointment.
