Beautiful. It was a sign given to my in-laws in honor of their 50th anniversary. They are now both gone so Ralph updated the sign so we could give it to our son and DIL as a house warming gift. They love it, plus it still has the sentimental value because it had our last name on it and they know it belonged originally to grandparents
Description of Work: Filled in the "engraving" on a wooden sign and stained the fill. refinished the entire sign. We then updated the sign with a new date

Extremely well. We wanted to update our kitchen without excessive cost, and wanted everything to match. Mr. Herrman took out a large griddle/warming area that we had and replaced with under-counter cabinets with slide-out drawers. The workmanship on the door fronts was excellent, and completely matched our existing cabinets in design and color. We did this project before a large church reunion, and the current and former members were very impressed with how well everything went together. Because of this, Mr. Herrman had to deal with a strict timeframe and worked with our trustees so that all but the material costs was a 'gift in kind'. The completed project ended up completed with quality that is a lasting work of art, and we will definitely be happy to have his workmanship in our church again.
Description of Work: St. Paul Methodist Church kitchen - Designed and built drawers and fronts for refurbished cabinets; designed and built large wooden cutting boards, using leftover countertop materials to match; built new cabinets over refrigerator for large container storage and duplicated design and color to match existing cabinets; designed, built, and installed drawer dividers for cutlery; designed, built, and installed paper towel racks with knife storage enclosed.

Very detail-oriented man, and had my chair completed in a few days as he promised. Told me up front exactly what he could do and would do...seemed he would not be satisfied unless it could be completed to look as it would if new and able to last another 100 yrs. Chair looks better than I could have imagined...I know he also builds things, but my repair was fabulous! I had heard that his work was immaculate, and they were correct. Highly recommend!
Description of Work: I took an antique chair to be repaired and 'fixed up'...the legs were loose, seat needed some repairs, overall sprucing, but did not want the original design or antique wood marred.
