+ -1 moreOn June 21, an employee broke a curved glass on the end of the cabinet. It was reported to them that day and pictures were sent to the owner. After researching with the Polaski manufacturer and glass businesses ,I found the glass could not be replaced. From June 22 to Aug. 31, the owner of Move It, Theresa A. Meyer, ignored my numerous recorded messages. As of Sept. 17, I still have not gotten a response after making a report on Move It to the Missouri Attorney's General's Office
Description of Work: I had Move It with M& S moved a curio cabinet from Kate and Co to my residence in the same city on June 21, 2016. I chose Move It since they advertised they were insured.

+ -1 moreIn the process, my $1500 60" LED Smart TV was damaged. There was a large crack in the left lower corner of the tv. Movers said they had placed the tv between my box spring and mattress. Is this a proper way to move a $1500 tv? Theresa, the owner, instructed me to make a claim. I did and she informed that because the tv weighed 45 lbs I would be awarded $.60 per pound based on the contract I had signed. That's $27.00. This company does not take responsibility for their carelessness and are not concerned about the well being of their customers. Now I have to buy a whole new tv due to the neglect of the movers. This company is more concerned about making money than making the ethical decision.
Description of Work: I hired this company to move my belongings from my smaller apartment to a new house.
