A.C. Swimming Pools

I have used this service twice to open my pool and twice to close it. Last year they left their heavy vacuum on the pool cover and dug a hole in it. He insisted there was no hole and used the cover again last fall. When they opened it the pool was a mess. The water was green, and there was gunk on the bottom..It looked like a farm pond. The pool is over 40 years old, stainless steel and poured concrete - top of the line ...and my husband and I did all the covering and uncovering until he passed away in Jan. of 2012 when I had to have help. NEVER, did the pool look like it did l on opening and he still insisted there was no hole and the water looked just fine. He vacuumed the pool, adjusted the chemicals and insisted it looked good. A week later and the water was still pale green. This pool has always had BLUE water and I was very unhappy. I threw the cover alway and will buy a new one for this Fall. I need to find a reliable service that knows what they are doing and will LISTEN TO SOMEONE WHO HAS BEEN TAKING CARE OF THE POOL FOR 42 YEARS !

Very responsive and very helpful - the fellow did not blow me off and was more than happy to answer all my questions (we just bought a house with a pool). He was punctual - arrived a few minutes early. Only small negative was that he was not dressed very professional (albeit it's a dirty job) - tennis shoes, athletic shorts, ball cap, and a random t-shirt (just looking at him you would not have known he was a serviceman from a reputable local business). But he was friendly and informative and as far as I can tell, did a great job.
