Pelton Well Drilling

Description of Work: Kevin Pelton of Pelton Well Drilling in St. Clair MO is the nicest professional I know who treats you like a friend. When my well pump acted up and I had no idea what was going wrong, Kevin and his wife came the same day I called. He reset the pressure in the 50+ year old tank. At that time, he could have tried to sell me a knew tank, one that wouldn't leak but he didn't. He said it was one of the best tanks ever made and to keep it as long as possible. The service charge was about $70. VERY FAIR in my mind considering he came the same day and came in the evening, working around my schedule. THEN HE DID SOMETHING NO ONE ELSE HAS EVER DONE...He told me my tank would lose pressure approximately every 18 months and GAVE ME INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO RE-PRESSURIZE IT MYSELF. Who does that?? It gets better. You would have thought I'd hang on to those instructions but unfortunately 18 months later, they were no where to be found. I called Kevin, told him what happened and instead of being a jerk, he kindly gave me the instructions over the phone on how to fix it. The last time I dealt with Kevin was when I asked him to check out a pump at another property. It was difficult since no electric was on, the pump was outside in a pit and the ground was froze. He gave me his estimate to move the holding tank in the house and the cost of a new pump and since I'd done my homework, I knew it was fair. I guess he could have charged me for his time, he spent over an hour, but he never did. Just said to give him a call if I bought the place. A few words to describe him are Honest, trustworthy and dependable.
