On October 10, 2019, Pelton Plumbing, who was referred to me by Patterson Well Drilling Company and Pump Service, came out to my house to repair/replace a water line from inside my home to my well line outside and install a well hydrant by my well. I was told by Patterson Well Drilling Company and Pump Service, that due to the location of my fence, the water line would be accessed by hand digging. (Apparently there are family ties between the two companies because they have the same answering service.) Upon arrival to my home, Pelton Plumbing began digging with a back hoe on the outside of the fence. I later discovered when I went outside to check on their progress, that they had decided to dig with back hoe near the house due to the ground being hard. I noticed they had made a drench and my stone walkway was now drug to each side. Upon completion, I did a brief walk through due to having to go to work and it starting to get dark. It was not until the next day that I noticed all the damage to my property. My stone walkway was destroyed. The large 100 lb. plus stones were arranged mishmash and sticking out of the ground. My fence, which was less than one year old, was damaged. Apparently the arm of the back hoe had bent the poles and the fence caps would not go back on. The chain-link was bent and unsecured from the poles and deep groves were dug throughout the poles. The stonework on the front of my home was cracked. Inside my home where the pipe was repaired the patch job was horrible and done very poorly. There was no attempt at cleaning up the debris or making the wires and lines presentable. I immediately called Pelton Plumbing to complain about everything I discovered. I was met with apprehension, but was told they would come out and look at everything. Upon returning to my home, I was met by the daughter of Patterson Well Drilling Company and Pump Service’s owner and a laborer. I was asked just exactly, “What do you want us to do?” I explained everything that was wrong and was given excuses as to why all of the damage happened. The laborer attempted to place the stonework back in place. He also attempted to repair the fence. (The poles caps were so out of line he had use screws to force them to stay on). As far as the cracked stonework on the front of the house, I was told I had no way of proving they did that. Inside the house he zip tied the wires and they swept up their mess. Honestly I was just glad to have them gone. A few weeks later, the foundation patchwork where the pipe was repaired started leaking inside the house again. I called Pelton Plumbing and they came and repaired the leak, but this time I stood there the whole time work was being done. Several months later, the well hydrant I had installed stopped working. I began calling Pelton Plumbing on a daily basis, until a week later, the owner called me and asked what I needed and that he had been out of town. I explained that the hydrant had stopped working (would not come on-no water). He said someone would be out that day or the next day. Three days passed and no one came. I began calling again and was told he would have someone call me to make arrangements to come out. That never happen. I called and left numerous messages and have heard nothing. The last time I spoke with the owner he was very rude and treated me like I was an annoyance. He literally answered the phone with, “What do you need?” My last message was me asking if he was ever going to come fix the hydrant. Weeks have passed and I have had no reply. I will personally take blame for not being more observant while the original work was being done. I will also say that I should have been more upfront with my complaints before allowing them to leave the second time after attempting to fix the issues. Everything about their work felt rushed and poorly executed. The original cost was $1800. I would wholeheartedly recommend that you do NOT use this company, especially if you are a single woman with little experience in home repair. I feel completely at a loss and am now looking for a plumber, landscaper, and mason.

they came in the home like they were on fire and ran around like a chicken with their head cut off. They began the pressure check by cutting my main water line and tapping in to it. From there they shut off my furnace to listen for air leaks. Never told me or turned it back on. They continued looking for leaks and found several at which point they cut my water lines at each spot. Then conveniently they had to leave to go to another job. Was told the younger of the two would come back to get a toilet and a sink going so I could wash my hands and use the restroom and such. When the younger guy did finally comeback he was in a hurry again. He checked the pressure once again and decided he had nothing with him to fix any of the leaks in my home except he ran one water line from where they cut it coming in my home to my toilet then he picked up his stuff, wrote me a bill (which I never signed or got a copy of) for $285 and on his way out he said he had to go to work. Also, DO NOT have them come by with children. The older one of the two guys done a lot of swearing while he was here.
