+ -1 moreTroy Cokley came out and provided us with a quote for one of the two trees. He was professional, and we were happy with his original price for the one (smaller) tree only, of around $450. We then decided to have a second tree and some shrubs taken out. He didn't come out to do the cutting when he said he was going to, due to a job he had that ran over, and he didn't call to say he couldn't be there on the day we thought we'd see him. He was impossible to reach directly, but after a few days, he did show up and do the job very professionally. And at a price that was outstanding, and included the stump grinding. I would hire him again or recommend him to anyone. His stump grinding sub is also very professional and meticulous. Bottom line, you may have to exercise some patience, but it's worth it.
Description of Work: Cut down two trees (pin oak and river birch, neither more than 20" around), removed two large shrubs and had a subcontractor grind out the stumps.

+ -1 moreTroy provides excellent service and offers seasonal and clustered discounts (if he has other work in your neighborhood on a particular day, it may be cheaper for you to schedule him on the same day). I can leave my home while he's working and trust that I will come back to a completed job and absolutely no residue to deal with.
Description of Work: Troy trimmed four mature trees that were overhanging neighbor's roof and my roof, and they completely cleaned up all debris. He has also entirely removed mature dying trees from my property again at a fair price.
