Description of Work: It is with sincere regret that I write this response on Signature exteriors. We bought their special on Angie's List. We knew it would cost more for a ridge vent and additional square foot. However, with the other two quotes we received from other contractors, there was no savings. In addition, we went with them because we felt we would receive quality and protection because they are an Angie's list provider. My first complaint for unprofessionalism is when a worker came into use my bathroom and took a bowel movement. I know that is trivial but I was grossed out. So if you use Signature Exteriors prepare for their workers to come in your home and use your bathroom. Second, the billing. We received a bill from their main office for the full amount. In error, they did not give us credit for the $4, 950.00 we had already paid through Angie's List. Finally, there was discoloration on the shingles in the front of the house and side of the garage. We brought this to the attention to signature. They agreed and noticed it too. They said to wait 60 days to see if it weathers and blends together. I emailed the girl in the accounts receivable and said I wanted to wait to see what happened with the roof before I paid it in full. She was very agreeable and told me she wanted us to be completely satisfied. (The only time I felt good about Signature). Things changed with the office manager. He sent a rather snippy email and told us to pay it in full. He reassured us he would work with the manufacturer to get our roof fixed. As such, my husband and I have decided to pay the bill and not wait for the manufacturer see if they are going to replace or repair the discoloration. As such, we are very disappointed to pay almost $10,000 and have the folks at signature treat us this way. I would suggest people to read all of the reviews on Signature before you use them.

Description of Work: The deal was to have a roofing inspection. My husband was expecting them to go on the roof and look at it. The technician asked me where we were having a problem and I showed him. He looked at it from the ground and gave a determination of the problem. He said he'd email me a quote for the work to be performed. We did not receive the email. I am not aware of him surveying the entirety of the roof from either the ground or on the roof. The impression I had was that he looked at the area where we'd had a problem and that was it. I did not hear back from him again. I can't say that we wouldn't use this provider in the future, but they probably wouldn't be first on our list to contact.

Description of Work: Replaced aluminum trim on a small 2nd floor dormer and around a small porch. They did a great job at an excellent price. I would use them again.

Description of Work: Signature Exteriors did a roofing job on my single family investment property in St. Louis, MO. They were very professional and easy to work with. The final price of the job turned out to be more than estimated because of City requirements. Signature Exteriors discounted the price for me even though it wasn't their fault. Overall a great experience.

Description of Work: I did hear from them after I purchased their service on Angie's List. I contacted them a few weeks later and told them I had lightning damage on the soffit and fascia and downspout on my house. They came to my house, climbed on the roof, told me that my roof was fine (I had already told them that the insurance company inspected the roof). They said they needed to go to Lowes to get the downspout. They returned and replaced the downspout. They told me they don't have the correct tool to fix the lightning damage on the soffit and fascia. They were literally at my house 15 minutes and I now need to pay more money to another company to fix the soffit and fascia. I think Signature Exteriors should have told me on the phone that they were unable to fix the soffit and fascia. The damaged area is very small and could have been easily fixed in a 2 hour period. Disappointed.

Description of Work: I bought a coupon for gutter repair because I had a peice of soffit bow off in a windstorm. I wanted it taked back in place a a quote for new replacement gutters and facscia. They did come out on tiem as promised, did cut off the faccia and tack it up (not really a very good repair, but it was no longer a hazard. They gave me a big story about the shape of my roof and how I should open an insurance claim to get it repelaced. I also asked for a gutter replacement quote. He said they would be in touch in two days. They never called back, I called them back twice looking for a quote and asking for follow-up, I just got empty promises and no quote.

Description of Work: My husband and I were very impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of each member of the Signature Exteriors staff. We were provided with a detailed assessment of our roof damage, and received a detailed estimate, along with digital photos of the areas to be repaired. The work was performed on schedule, and came in right at the estimated price. I recommend Signature Exteriors to anyone needing roof repairs.

Description of Work: I purchased a $49 deal for Roof Tune-Up + $100 Repair Credit. The service went fine. They did exactly what the deal stated and no repairs were needed. Two technicians came out for the service and did a fine job. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

Description of Work: I bought a $59 "Roof and Gutter Maintenance" deal. This constituted them getting up on the roof, noting that all looked well, advising me on a possible leak in the garage (noting it might be an old leak before the house was re-roofed) and for me to keep an eye on it to see if it worsens. They also gave a bid for replacing some torn aluminum fascia. The bid was high, so I didn't hire them. They gave me a discount of the $59 already paid toward the bid, but it was still too high for the work that was to be done. The inspection lasted all of 10 minutes and then they stood in my cul-de-sac for 45 minutes talking before leaving for their next appointment. So I'm not sure the inspection part is worth $59. If you have a known issue with your roof/gutters, you can probably get free estimates on repairs.

Description of Work: They were supposed to complete the job that was bid but we couldn't get them to come back and do the job. Would not recommend using them.

Description of Work: Two men worked for one hour (=2 labor hours as advertised), with one man on the roof. They performed a repair on one gutter and secured several loose roof shingles. They provided an inspection of the roof overall, which was in good shape. This wasn't an easy job, as the roof is three stories high with lots of gables. Everything was done efficiently and competently, and they were friendly and courteous. It was very good value for the price, and I would certainly seek a bid from them for a future roof job.

Description of Work: They checked my gutters, fixed some siding, and went around gutters and roof taking pictures and pointing out things that needed attention. They don't clean gutters but they were nice enough to blow the leaves out Of the gutters as they inspected them. I haven't used them to put covers on my gutters yet but I probably will given their honesty, cost of service and professionalism.
