+ -1 moreContractor left work to be finished over a weekend. We got 5" of rain and, as a result of the work being left uncomplete, we had a horrible leak that damaged ceilings on two floors. We had major damage to floors, woodwork and plaster on both floors as well. Contractor acknowledged his mistake, accepted full responsibility, and promised to repair/replace exactly as it was. We are in a historic 135 year old house so I was very concerned and frankly skeptical. But, while this was an enormous hassle and difficult to deal with, the contractor was good on his word and went above and beyond to fix everything he had caused. He was very responsive whenever I called and addressed all of my issues along the way. While his messup caused considerable hardship, he handled it so well that I am using him again on another project

+ 0 moreVery disappointed that what I wanted didn't seem to matter. Dissatisfied, I don't feel I got my 2 hrs of labor.
Description of Work: I wanted 4 pieces of siding replaced. I had the materials on hand. They replaced 1 . I asked about replacing some metal wrap on my deck .They said they would have to prepare an estimate . I asked them to to just replace the damaged siding , they said they would have to check with their boss first . After a couple of phone calls, they said they couldn't do it as it might take more than 2 hrs. I asked them to do it and I would pay for the extra time over 2 hrs . Another call; they said they couldn't do that either, but they could credit the 2 hrs toward the estimate job. So they sent me an email estimate, 2 days later than they said they would and I didn't even look at because at this point I really felt that they only wanted to hustle a bigger job from me, no matter what I wanted. So I kissed my $49 goodby . When they called to ask if I had reviewed the estimate I told them I wasn't interested .

We had to reschedule because of weather, but they kept in touch with me and did everything in a timely matter. Jason was on time, friendly, explained everything he was doing. He looked at my roof and in addition to fixing the siding, removed an unused satellite dish. I felt no pressure to do unnecessary work and will definitely call them again if I need work done
Description of Work: A couple of pieces of siding had fallen off the eaves of my roof.

The roof installation was professional and no damage was done to our existing gutters. The work they did was great, did a good job matching colors and a thorough job of the repair. They made some improvements to the gutter system that were not there previously, and I appreciate the suggestions that really did not add to the overall cost. I don't think I'll have any more issues in the area they fixed.

+ 0 moreWhile the contractor was polite and responsive( came when scheduled), the siding issues remain unresolved. He spent about 15 minutes assessing the problem and I got the impression he could address the issue. He suggested that I may have an issue with the roofing(flashing). It has been several weeks and I have emailed the contractor twice requesting an estimate for the repairs. At this point, I am really no further along than when I started, as he has not submitted any estimate.
Description of Work: I wanted siding issues resolved. Siding on my house is falling off.
