Unfortunately I didn't finish - but the guys were great about putting the mulch down where they could and leaving the rest for me to do. There was a bit of a glitch regarding the heads up phone call prior to arrival, but no big deal.

 + -1 moreIt went GREAT! I had a team of three men for 1 hour & 20 minutes. They were fast & did a great job! They cleared out a corner, including uprooting young trees & digging out the roots. They also cleared out yew bushes, including down to the roots. Multiple flower beds were cleared & they had a chainsaw, so several very large tree limbs were trimmed back. Other bushes were trimmed & cleaned up. While it was an extra fee, it was worth it to have them haul it all away. They were quick & efficient & willing to tackle any job. By myself, it would have taken days to do what they did in a little over an hour. Money well spent!

 + 0 moreUnfortunately, responses from Brandon are mean, disrespectful and upsetting. Even if you have differences with a customer, the last thing a business owner should do is alienate that customer through delay of refund and disrespect. It is very upsetting to me and I want this resolved so I can be free of Brandon. I want to reiterate - the work of the crew was professional and excellent. The problem was Brandon.
Description of Work: A number of projects were done totaling $2647.50 and the crew was excellent but communication with Brandon was always a problem. I eventually got annoyed with having to continually follow up with him and when he became mean, then I decided I needed to move my business elsewhere. I paid $427.50 in advance for lawn service for the entire year and am still waiting for my refund check of $225. It's been three weeks. I emailed him this morning to let him know I would file a complaint with the BBB and also with Angie's List conflict resolution, then he immediately responded and was again mean. I want to part ways with Schwartz Brothers and all I want is my $225 back. I did not want to file a negative review.

 + -1 moreFirst let me say that I have never had a landscaping business that replied to my request for a bid so quickly. Brandon replied to my request on the same day (Tuesday) I filled out the bid request on line. Sam then came out on Friday of the same week and gave me a bid to do the work. I contacted Brandon on Monday and he had his team ready to work on Friday. They were in and out in less than 2 hours and did a terrific job. It was something that would have been an all day (or even all weekend) job for me. They were prompt, courteous and did great work. I will definitely be using them again.
Description of Work: I had landscaping around the front of the house that needed to be cleaned up...trimming of bushes, taking out an old stump, etc.

But the lawn is about 1750 sq. ft. Felt that the overestimation and poor measurement was the main reason why I choose not to go with the services.

 + 0 moreI wasn't that impressed with their first service. I'm sure it helped some, but it didn't seem as thorough as I expected. It did do some good. The grass was a little greener and there were fewer weeds, but it didn't really eliminate weeds or charge the grass. There were weeds that come in every season and they came in again. It didn't accomplish what I had hoped. I would tell others if they use them, be there and stay on them and make sure they do what they're supposed to do. Don't just have them come out while you're off at work.
Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal to get three treatment for fertilization and weed control for my yard. I only paid the price of the Big Deal. There were no extra charges.
