They do a really good job. I have had them for the last 3 years and they are very reasonably priced. It's very good. The pricing I think is very reasonable for my size lawn. They're quality of work is excellent, they cut and trim and clean up after themselves.

Showed up to do a bid, said it was too muddy to measure, even though I said I would walk the tape for him. Said to call him when it dried out, even though it took us 2 weeks to get him there in the first place. Waste of our time.

Brandon's crew was amazing ! We are beyond thrilled with the results! Our yard has never looked this good !! We will for sure hire them again !!

We had a good experience working with Schwartz Brothers. The prices were reasonable for the work we were getting done. They came out to perform a free estimate of the work and were punctual and professional. Due to weather we had to push the actual day of work back just one day. The crew that came out to perform the work were amazing. Very thorough, polite and did an amazing job. They hauled everything away and cleaned up after themselves. I would say the only thing I would change about the experience is the responsiveness of the company. There doesn't seem to be a functioning voicemail box (it says mailbox full) for the company so if they don't answer the phone when you call then you have to contact them by email. I also didn't hear a confirmation about the actual day of work so I had to reach out and connect with them myself but then they did respond back to that. I would say it is left to the customer to be diligent and keep the communication open. I would have preferred a higher level of customer service where communication is concerned. But overall, based on the work performed, we will definitely use them again in the future.

I hired this company over a week ago and the still have not contacted me. I've attempted to contact them twice. When I contacted an Angie's List representative they seemed to think it was OK if it took them a week to make contact even though this company already has my money. This makes me question their customer service standard and the legitimacy of the rating system. I want my money make because I've been SCAMMED!

Rep came out, seemed very professional and knowledgeable. Took him a while to get a quote to me which seemed to be the standard with other landscapers I was trying to work with. Price was highest received of three quotes and had a couple non requested items. I don't think the added items were out of line in scope to the project but did price him out of market. I don't think he was trying to gouge or anything dishonest. I also got the impression that his firm was so busy that he was almost trying to discard business by estimating on the high side. I think at another time of year these guys might be a little more accomodating

They never showed at appt time nor called.

I never heard from them so am looking for a different provider

They are on-going. They come out once a month. We have an annual contract with them and that was like $270 for the whole year. I like their responsiveness.

Schwartz Brothers did an exceptional job with my backyard. It was a big project. I wanted my the hill in the backyard taken out. Retaining walls installed, drainage, grading, and new sod for the entire yard. Brandon is very respectful of our time. He would let us know when he'll be here in advance and always showed up on time. The crew was professional and efficient. They cleaned up after everything was done and not even a twig was left on my yard. They even fixed a few extra things that wasn't on the contract. I would definitely recommend and use their service again.

I have used shot brothers often on for the last few years and keep going back because they do a great job, professional. Show up when they're supposed to. I would highly recommend them to anyone else

I had Schwartz handle our lawn treatment last year. They applied fertilizers on a timely basis and our lawn definitely benefitted. I also had them aerate and overseed last fall. Overall, they were very professional and I was very happy with the service. I have already signed back up for next year!!

I have nothing but positive things to say. I would absolutely use them again. I was very pleased. Price was really reasonable for what they did. They came 3 days later after the bid.

Arrived several days after our scheduled time with no notice. My wife and I had taken a walk in the neighborhood to find the work crew finishing the job. They had arrived after we had left so we were surprised to see them as we returned. One of the crew presented us with the bill which at $75 was reasonable enough and on par with our usual service which could not schedule soon enough for our needs. I wrote the worker a check to the company for the amount and had no further feedback until about a month later when I received a bill for $75. I called Schwarz Bros. and spoke to someone in charge explaining that I had written a check and given it to the worker in charge on the day of service. To date I have not received the cancelled check but have the carbon of the check written. The owner (I presume) said he would check in the work truck and around his place of business. I explained that I would like to know as soon as possible in order to cancel the check and wright a knew one. I also complained that the work done was not satisfactory in that his crew just blew the leaves out of the gutters and did not clean up the debris they had blown out around our house and deck something every other service does as a matter of course. Now at least two months later I have received a second bill for the $75. Weighing my options as whether I will pursue disputing this. Very dissatisfied and will not hire again.

Both jobs they did very well. They were on time and completed the job quickly and efficiently. They were responsive to my call, calling me back within 24 hours. They arrived promptly to give me an estimate and arrived promptly on the day the work was done. The first job (shrubs) was done in the Spring of 2016 and cost $200. The second job (leaves) was done today, Dec 1 and cost $144 with Angie's List Coupon.

I have a $1,500 project with equal price on bid from Schwartz Brothers and another company. The estimation report from Schwartz Brothers was pretty rough and lack of details I asked. As 1) I used their service before, 2) we had discussed details, 3) and I had another offer to compare with, I thought what wrong it could be. So I chose Schwartz Brothers anyway as they had flexible time. Turns out it was a big mistake, and I was charged 150% of the original bid at the end. At the first day after the project kicked off, they told me they forgot to add one item I asked in the bid, so I had to pay $200 more, for their mistake! What choice do I have. After all project finished, they said the original bid could not cover the cost, so I had to pay another $600. Then I did a homework, learned how to calculate the materials cost, and the market price for the project. I also compared the material consumed by them with the estimation report from another company which is detailed and professional. So they consumed almost equal materials (including 15% waste, with same materials) as in the other company's bid. On some material like cap blocks, they even used less. But they charged much more. I also learned the market price for a concrete retaining wall is $15-30 per sq ft, while they charged me $35 per sq ft at the end, with extra $400 on buried drain and soil. Guess it is a lesson I have to learn. Never trust if something was not written on paper.
