Description of Work: Where do I begin with this horrible bait and switch company?? I called to price having our vents cleaned. I talked to Jennifer who was very nice. I told her it was 10 vents, a spider system in the attic, and that the house was 94 years old. She quoted us $20 per vent plus $6 per vent for the extra sanitizing. So a total of $260. We made an appointment for Tuesday 3/8/22 between 10am and 1pm. We didn’t get a call the day before, but we weren’t told we would. On Tuesday we hadn’t heard anything so we called around 11:30ish to find that we had not been scheduled at all. Sherry…also very nice…said Jennifer was new and didn’t get it on the schedule. However, they had some cancellations and would come by 1:00pm. We got a call later from a dispatcher saying because of our system he needed to send his top tech and he couldn’t get there until 2pm. I had to work at three but called in to say I would be late. David ONeal showed up around 2:15. I showed him around the house and the attic access. He said he did not know our system was in the attic and because of insurance reasons, they don’t do that. So a whole day wasted. I was very upset. I called back to the office and talked with manager Don. I explained the WHOLE mess. He was nice. He said they did do that type system but he claimed it wasn’t noted on the record. I told him it was discussed with Jennifer and the dispatcher knew because he was sending a special technician because of it. Don said he would send two techs out the next morning between 8-10am. We discussed the price quoted of $260 but said there could be more if we had the furnace/blower cleaned. I explained to Don that we did not need the furnace cleaned as we have a maintenance contract with a heating and cooling company and they come out twice a year and clean and replace the filter up in the attic. Don said ok. The next morning Zach arrived by himself with no other tech. Zach looked up in the attic and said they could do it, but it would be $425. I explained no, per Jennifer and per Don the cost was $260. That was $20 per vent +6 dollars per vent for sanitizing. I had to call Don back. Now Don said they don’t quote a price until they come and look, which was not at all what he had said the day before and not what I had been quoted by Jennifer. He then said because of all we had been thru the day before and this, he would discount it to $300. I explained to him that it wasn’t a “discount” to me since now it’s $40 more than what Jennifer told me (not to mention losing time at work from the day before), but I just want it done and the awful mess over. My husband got on the phone and asked Don why he told him that they would send 2 people to do the job, and then only sent one? Don said he didn’t have 2 to send at the time. My husband said then it is another failure on the companies part, to which Don said “Well, I’ll just have Zach leave.” He then hung up on my husband. Zach left, and didn’t even bother to close up the attic. My husband is handicapped and that’s why we pay the HVAC company twice a year to come and change our filter and clean our system in the attic for us. So we were lied to, wasted two days, lost time at work and got nothing done but have more problems to deal with. This company is AWFUL!!! I feel like it was a bait and switch deal. It was a cluster from the get go. DO NOT USE!! We have filed complaints with the BBB and the Attorney General’s office for deceptive business practices.

Description of Work: After a "gully washer" rain and a flooded basement, I called ProSteam to clean the carpets before my family arrived for a previously scheduled visit. The Flood Crew that had worked carefully to salvage things in the basement had tried to spare the carpet but I called ProSteam to be sure everything was clean and sanitary. | I so appreciated the service. The company did a stellar job! I will call them again!

Description of Work: Order was to steam clean carpet in two bedrooms. Looked great at completion--before it was dried. Two days later (not walking on it w/shoes for 48 hrs) it looked dirty--especially in traffic ways and at doorways and at walls--no pre spotting. . .had this done by another vendor previously (5 yrs ago) and carpet looked immaculate when dry.
