New Transitions did a great job with the window replacement. They installed 17 windows and a sliding door in 2 days. They were on time and everything went according to schedule. The installers were professional. Great communication and everything as promised. I would highly recommend.

Bryan and Mark were great to work with! We weren't entirely sure what we wanted and they were great at coming up with specific ideas and a design. They showed up on time every day and kept the work areas clean. They kept us informed every step of the way and were quick to return calls. Everything went according to plan-no problems, hassles or surprises. The craftsmanship and detail are amazing! They were very interested in doing things the right way and that we were very happy with their work. They took the time to answer our many questions and explain everything. We would definitely recommend them and plan to have them out for our next project.

Over the years, we?ve had the opportunity to engage a number of contractors, often times with less than desired results?from both a project management and results standpoint. Consequently, we didn?t have a ?go to? contractor for this job. Based on a number of factors, we chose New Transitions from a host of choices on Angie?s list. Working with New Transitions was different from the first consultation visit to our home?they actually showed up on time! During that visit we provided Bryan with our basic design ideas which he then took and created drawings for. Ours was a mid-size kitchen remodel?and we couldn?t be happier with the process and the results. Let?s face it, you can be happy with the end product but hate the process that got you there. Bryan and Mark did an outstanding job. They were professional in every aspect and were master craftsmen. They are a two man crew which we liked. They did what they promised and cleaned up every day after they were done. We were very comfortable having them in our home. We wanted a top of the line bathroom which we got for a reasonable cost. We are now planning our next remodeling project and they will be the ones to do it!

Very professional and did a quality job, and was helpful even after the job was done to attempt to help me find matching tile next to area where they put in the shower.

From estimate to picking out materials to the work actually being performed, Bryan and Mark worked diligently to keep me informed and also to educate me on choices and materials. Money discussions were easy, and answers were concise. They adhered completely to the timeline, working the job every day as the priority of the day. Every evening they cleaned their workspace and stored their equipment and tools. My master bath was clinging to the 90's in desperation, and now it looks as elegant as anything I've ever seen. The materials that Bryan helped me choose and his advice were spot-on, and Mark's artistic talent and skill impress everyone who sees this room. They were not the lowest bid on this project, but I am so glad that we chose them. And we will definitely recommend them to anyone who is planning a project!

Bryan and Mark at New Transitions did a very good, professional remodel of our kitchen. Bryan came to our home at the time he informed us he would be to review our job. A quote was provided within reasonable time. While not provided in great breakout of the individual costs, it did accurately reflect the costs and detail what would be done. Once all supplies arrived the work was completed within a week. New Transitions worked carefully and are very concerned about quality. When there were decisions to be made they consulted us and provided opinions when asked. We had a mishap when glass backsplash tile we ordered was no longer available, Bryan immediately informed us when he found out and we were able to pick out an alternative. While we didn't like the alternative as well, this was the supplier's fault and not New Transitions. I would highly recommend using New Transitions for a remodeling job you might be considering. I will be using them again on our next projects and have received quotes from them. While they are not the lowest cost, you will get the quality you pay for. They are extremely knowledgeable in their trade, use quality materials, don't rush, and want to make sure you are satisfied. They cleaned up every day leaving no mess for us to have to deal with and during construction they hooked appliances and plumbing back up so that we still had a working kitchen during all the remodel. We had hesitated to remodel the kitchen as many people had discussed what a long disaster it was to be without a kitchen. New Transitions made sure this was NOT the case for us. Hire them and you will be satisfied i am sure.

They did a great job, top quality work. Gave good advice and were adaptive to some of the changes we made along the way. I would definitely use them again.

This is the second major project we have used New Transitions for and our experience was exactly the same as the first time around: nothing but the best! AWESOME! Bryan is the most caring contractor I have ever had the pleasure of working with! I chose New Transitions based on reviews from Angie's List. I have never submitted a review before, but I need to let others know how great our experience was. If you have a project you are considering, include New Transitions on your bid list. When you meet Bryan you will see for yourself what everyone is talking about. Beyond that, the work they do is top notch! I was so discouraged about having to re-do all the bathrooms when we moved in to our house. It's so invasive, messy, etc... Well after the first day of demo I knew I had made the right choice. They left everything so CLEAN! And this is how it was every day that they were here. Mark is unbelievably good at what he does - from bathrooms, to crown molding, etc... There was always clear communication about the scheduling. We got exactly what we wanted at a reasonable price, and everything turned out amazing! We have since used them for other odd jobs, and they are just the best. I can honestly say they felt more like family than contractors. This is a company that you can count on and really TRUST!!

Very happy with the finished product. Onyx shower walls/base with heavy glass door and half glass wall looks great and makes the small bathroom look larger. Also included tile floor, toilet, vanity, sink and medicine cabinet. Daily voicemails provided status of tasks completed and upcoming steps. Only drawback is they do not paint so you have to finish yourself or hire another contractor -- but that is very clear in the bid/discussion up-front. Plumbing stack was installed incorrectly by sub-licensed plumber with a T-joint to toilets in adjacent bathrooms which had to be redone so the flushes would not suck water out of the other toilet. Bryan seemlessly worked with the plumber to correct the stack installation.

I contacted Bryan about a partial remodel of my bathroom (shower and bath tub replacement). Bryan showed up on time and was very friendly for my estimate. He took measurements and when I mentioned I needed some advice on what would be a good fit for my personal bathroom needs. He had some great suggestions and was very familiar with the products. He gave me great ideas about the pros and cons of different tubs, fixtures, overflows, shower walls, etc. He is a wealth of information. Bryan got the bid to me very quickly and was able to adapt it when I requested labor only after finding a supplier for my materials. During the process, as I was waiting on other bids, questions kept arising and I would email or call Bryan who would very rapidly get back to me and give me his professional opinion on the matter. For instance, one contractor told me that there was going to be plumbing problems that he couldn't take care of. I asked Bryan if he anticipated any problems and if he could fix them, and he assured me that yes, if there were any problems that he could take care of it, but that he didn't expect he would find any issues. The only reason I did not choose Bryan is that the bid came in a bit high compared to my other bids. Since Bryan is so versatile in his expertise, I really hope to employ him and New Transitions for when I update my kitchen. I highly recommend him as a consult for any remodeling project and I plan to contact him again for my next remodeling adventure!

Everything about this experience exceeded our expectations. Bryan and his coworker Mark were punctual, polite and easy to work with, always able to make changes and accommodate our wishes - we are eager to promote their business and can't wait to hire them for our next project.

We are putting our house on the market 02/2014 and needed new windows installed throughout the house. I received six bids and sat through five hard sells. Most companies I contacted required both spouses to be present at the time of the hard sell (bid).Those companies were eliminated immediately in my process. The bid from New Transitions was on the low end of the range and I was impressed with their approach. It was important to me that I received quality product done right the first time at the arranged time. Their installation crew does nothing but install windows and the installation went flawless. Do your homework and sit through the hard sells with both spouses present or just give them a call and move on to the next project. Anybody want to buy an overpriced home with brand new windows.

All the work that has been done is perfect. We have been very pleased with the work of Bryan and John. Every night they cleaned up after themselves. We continue to use them for projects around the house.

We have a 1930s house with a previous, poorly performed kitchen remodel. We wanted to update the kitchen (especially floor and counter tops) without starting from scratch. (We ended up painting the existing cabinets which worked out great- see Voss Spray Painting). We received three estimates; all were within 10% of each other. It's impossible to price compare on something like this as no contractor will give you 'line item' detail. Bryan was nice enough to break the cost of the project down by component so we knew generally how much each part of the remodel was going to cost (more than anybody else would do). We picked New Transitions because Bryan was certainly the most friendly / enthusiastic / informative person we talked to during the bidding process. He was very responsive. He offered suggestions for materials but was also very accommodating to our last minute whims in changing the project plan. Once the job started, Bryan and Mark were prompt, friendly, clean, and professional. The project started and ended exactly when promised and both Bryan and Mark worked hard to keep the construction as unobtrusive to our daily routine as possible. We had a question about the project and Bryan returned our voice mail message in less than 10 min. We can't say enough good things about New Transitions. The kitchen turned out wonderful. Exactly what we wanted. We would definitely use them again; even our 5 year old wants to know when "Mr. Bryan" will be back.

Brian Ousley is very polite and professional. He was on time, and listened as we outlined what we wanted to do with our bathrooms and kitchen. He provided a written estimate as requested. My husband and I decided to go with another Angie's List service provider

All of our experience with New Transitions have been exemplary. Brian is excellent, not only for the actual labor, but also is very helpful in cases where you are not quite sure what would work or look best. Mark's handyman skills are excellent. Not only is the workmanship of high quality, he is also adaptable with our opinions. They purchased for us high quality materials, in fact, Brian is a dealer in Onyx countertops which made the process even easier. They are both quiet, efficient and depart with no mess. When they are gone, you are ready to go. This is our 4th experience with their firm and I would recommend them without reservations.

This is the third time we have used New transitions for remodeling projects and as usual the experience was excellent. Bryan is a pleasure to work with and does a good job keeping us appraised of the status of the project. The door and side panel installation went smoothly and they were easily finished in a day. As usual, they cleaned up and left the work area spotless. The door looks even better than expected both inside and out and the workmanship was first rate (and I'm a perfectionist). Bryan pointed out one area of exterior trim above the door that had a slight manufacturing defect that I would hardly have noticed. They promptly ordered a new piece and came out a few days later to replace the part.

We initially found New Transitions on Angie's List. We ask 3 vendors (all honors) including New Transitions for bids; New Transitions was in the middle on price (the highest bid was considerably higher than the other two). We picked New Transitions because they were prompt, professional and explained in detail (and in a way a non-technical person could clearly understand) ... all aspects of the project, bid and plans. All work was completed in an impeccable fashion. Their attention to detail was second to none. They were careful to lay down cloths to protect floors, etc. and constantly kept things vacuumed and clean during the project with a full clean up upon completion. We never knew they had been here. We would highly recommend New Transitions and in fact ...after the first phase we had the opportunity to recommend New Transitions to a colleague of mine who retained New Transitions for a full kitchen remodel and new floors. They were equally pleased with the results and experience. We will absolutely retain New Transitions for any projects that fit within their scope of services. A stellar experience all the way around.

We simply could not be more pleased with the results. No really, we are THRILLED with our new bathroom! From my very first contact with Bryan until the last speck of dust was cleaned up after they finished the job, I was blown away by the degree of professionalism and the enthusiasm (this is so rare!) with which he and Mark tackled the entire process. This was a big job, a total transformation, and I can not imagine how it could have gone more smoothly or been easier to live through. Bryan handled all the initial contacts, design, planning, etc and was exceedingly pleasant throughout. He was always easy to contact and always eager to address my questions or concerns. He and Mark obviously have this down and are quite a team, working together like a well-oiled machine throughout. They were punctual, they let themselves in, were absolutely meticulous about containing all their supplies and protecting the surrounding spaces, and at the end of the day they cleaned up so well that you would never know they had been there except for the progress in the bathroom. Mark went way above the call of duty several times as he was so kind to let my dog out when I was away all day and couldn't get home. We appreciated that we were their absolute priority for whole time - they worked efficiently everyday and got an amazing amount of work done in a relatively short time. These are just super guys, totally professional, knowledgeable, reliable......they are definitely our "go-to" guys for all our remodeling needs in the future!

Here's what you have to understand about New Transitions - they are absolutely consummate professionals and take enormous pride in their work. And my little piece of trim is just one more indicator. I called Bryan on Monday morning, June 3rd and described the problem. I told him I knew it was just a little thing, but didn't want anyone else mucking about in my beautiful kitchen so asked if he'd fix it for us. His answer, as always, was, "Yes." Understand, he did not ask HOW it came loose or if it was our fault or his fault or the grandkids' fault. He just said, "Yes," and said he'd call me as soon as he could to set up a chance to come over one morning and take care of it. I didn't want anyone else to do it, so I didn't ask for a cost estimate - I knew he or Mark would do it right and the price would be fair and I wanted it done right! He called one week later and asked if he could come by between 8 and 8:30 this morning (Wed.) We agreed and, typically, he was knocking on the door a little past 8. My "little-bitty" repair took him about 45 minutes and, of course, it looks perfect. And when we asked how much we owed him, the answer was, " Nothing. We always want to take care of any issues with any of our projects." Mind you, he never did ask us how it came loose. I urge anyone considering a remodeling job to talk to New Transitions before you decide.

He was nice and professional but the fact that he never got back to me with a bid left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth.

They came and gave an estimate quicklt, which was adhered to, except we added another window at the last minute. They came one day and replaced most windows and came back the next and did the finish work. I was nervous because it looked rough after day one but after day day we were so pleased. The attention to detail was great, and the workmanship was very nice. The installers were not very communicative but they did great work.
