+ -1 moreOver two weeks passed and there was no progress on the sewer repair. I contacted the City only to find that they had not received the required 3 bids. I then contacted Meyers Plumbing to find out why they had not submitted a bid. After much difficulty, a helpful Meyers employee got through to the person who was to complete and submit the bid. The bid packet was still in his truck!!! He explained to the employee who was trying to help me that the boss had decided that they were no longer doing that type of work! He admitted that they never contacted me to update me on this. In the mean time, it has now been over 3 weeks since the broken sewer flooded my basement and I am no closer to having it repaired. All it would have required was to call and tell me they were not interested in bidding the project. This has to be one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had!
Description of Work: Contacted Meyers Plumbing to get a bid for repair of a broken Sewer Lateral at my home. Repair had been authorized for payment by the City of St. Peters under their sewer repair insurance program. City requires that 3 bids are submitted for the project. Called Meyers Plumbing to see if it fell under the scope of their services. I was told that they did that type of work and I hand delivered the bid packet to their office, discussed the repairs required, and was told they would come out the next day to survey the site and then submit the bid to the City of St. Peters.

+ -1 morePLUMBER VIEWED PROBLEM ON SATURDAY AND SHOWED ME EXACTLY WHAT WAS LEAKING AND WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE TO REPAIR LEAK. PLUMBER CALLED MONDAY MORNING & CAME AND FIXED THE PROBLEM IN ABOUT AN HOUR. SERVICE WAS VERY PROMPT AND PROFESSIONAL.
Description of Work: REPLACED UP STAIRS SECOND FLOOR BATHTUB DRAIN THAT WAS LEAKING. ALSO REPLACED TUB DRAIN THAT WAS NOT WORKING TO OPEN AND CLOSE.
