Description of Work: I was having trouble growing grass under my large tree in the front yard. I wanted to have the yard aerated and over seeded. I called the Lawn Doctor at 5:00pm. Jeremy from the Lawn Doctor was at my house by 6:15 that same evening. First thing he said was he prefers to aerate and over seed in the fall. He said it would not be beneficial to this now because the tree in my yard was so big, the grass was not getting enough sunshine. He recommended taking down about 4-5 limbs and then he would aerate and overseed the yard. I had a friend take down the limbs and called him to come out to aerate and overseed. He would call me to update me when they were going to do this. It had to be delayed a few days because the ground was too wet. | |The Lawn Doctor was one of the most responsive companies I've ever worked with. At my house in 75 minutes. Didn't try to sell be anything. He just told me I needed to cut the limbs off or no grass is ever going to grow. They would always call to give you updates when they were coming out to do their service. Highly recommend the Lawn Doctor.

They also did a thorough job of letting me know when they had been to the house as well as if they couldn't make it. It's difficult to judge the quality of the work since it is the winter season, and it takes time for the treatment to become effective.

+ 0 moreThe owner of Lawn Doctor is great. He is very professional and knowledgeable. The employees are not as good as he is but are fine. I have not had a problem with weeds since using Lawn Doctor. Due to the very hot and dry summer this past year, or perhaps because of pests I lost some of my grass and had large bare spots in the yard. After I had a sprinkler system installed I requested Lawn Doctor come out and see if they could do anything with the bare areas. The owner recommended a power seeding. It is late in the year but he thought it would be best to try to get some seed in to try to germinate prior to next year. His guys came out and did half of the area we talked about. Luckily I caught them before they left and showed them the backyard and the rest of the areas that the owner and I had agreed upon getting done. They seeded the areas but I will not know until next year if this service was worthwhile. I will do a follow-up at that time. I do think Lawn Doctor is a good company and would recommend them.
Description of Work: I have been using Lawn Doctor for weed prevention for the past year and a half. Recently I also requested they perform an emergency power seeding on bare areas of my lawn.

We signed up for a year long program to really give their products a chance. we have been very pleased. The violets are controlled the front yard looks great and we are focussing on the back. Rich has been professional and courteous at every turn. he gives us expert advice and treats our lawn like it was his own. He has fertilized, killed weeds and slugs. We are continuing with the program because we value the individual service, the outstanding results and the value.
