This is the third time we've used Tom and Finishing Touch. Tom and his crew are the ultimate professionals. Tom listens to your needs and suggestions. He is prompt to return calls and e-mails. Every detail is done to met your satisfaction. Tom works hard to ensure he provides a great product and/or service at an affordable cost. The team always cleans up the yard, street and every area they've touched. It looks great and we could not be more pleased.

Tom came out to the house and offered a few suggestions and showed us pictures from some of the other jobs he had done. He submitted his proposal to us in a reasonable amount of time. He even worked with us some on his price since other contractors had come in with lower estimates. Tom was pleasant to work with...he and his crew were courteous, worked hard, and cleaned up at the end of the day. We are very happy with the results.

Tom was very pleasant and easy to work with. Was very responsive to my call for an estimate. I had difficulty deciding what I wanted, but he was very patient and helped me thru the decision making. The first estimate was over my budget, but he worked with me to scale back the project to a price range I was comfortable with. He was very prompt and always cleaned up after the work. Tom kept reassuring me that the landscaping will look beautiful - he was right! I am very pleased with his work and will definitely use him for future projects. He did a GREAT JOB!!!

Tom and team were able to meet both our budget and our tight time frame for this project. Tom were very professional, responsive, and seemed genuinely concerned that all of our expectations were met. We will be using Finishing Touch for any future landscaping projects.

Tom was very easy to work with. I e-mailed him MANY times and he always responded to my questions and concerns. The entire vision for the backyard was his and we aboslutely love it. He asked many questions about what we wanted and to use our space for and came up with a whole new concept that we never had thought of. Work went very smoothly. They always arrived on time and cleaned up at the end of the day. Would absolutely recommend him. We are thrilled with how the backyard turned out.

Tom got back to me with his design promptly. Although we were delayed by a rainy week, the job was finished as soon as the weather allowed. I was impressed by how hard his crew worked. Tom came up with fencing that allowed us to use some material we had on hand which was good for the environment. He found a good way to display a favorite stepping stone of my husband's. Tom is a good listener.

He arrived on time, was very courteous & professional, with a nice sense of humor, which I always appreciate! He was extremely personable & knowledgeable in every aspect from start to finish. He paid attention to every detail, and beyond, offering some examples of potential future projects to keep in mind. He indicated that my project would most likely begin in around two weeks, and, naturally, the anticipation was the worst part! It took no longer than that & in two days, it was finished & my home has never looked so beautiful! Thankyou to Tom & the gang!

Tom is extremely professional (email and in person). He offered great ideas for my landscaping needs while trying to keep within our budget. His crew were also very polite and great to work with. Tom is the type of contractor that wants you to be happy with his work and will go the extra mile so the customer is satisfied. I especially liked how Tom and his crew moved existing plants and planted them in other areas around my home which really enhanced the yard . I really enjoyed working with him and will call on him again for future landscaping needs.

I had a garden shed sitting amid a weedy patch that needed help. When Tom came by to give me an estimate I knew right away that he "got it" and knew just what I wanted. He and his crew built a charming wall around the little shed and then landscaped it with beautiful plants and flagstone paths. The finished project was delightful. He and his crew were prompt and courteous, meticulously clean, and a joy to watch. I highly recommend Tom for any landscaping needs.

Tom came out to assess the situation and formulate options for addressing the drainage problem in our backyard. He was very helpful and provided many options. He was focused on providing and affordable (even re-used an existing pop-up drain since it worked fine and would save us a few bucks), effective solution. He took a few days to write-up his plans and then provided us with an estimate. After evaluating other company's proposals, we chose Tom because of his professionalism, enthusiasm and competitive cost. Tom and his crew were very responsive and accommodating. There was a brief break in action due to some protests by a neighbor, but Tom conducted himself professionally and were able to continue. His crew was receptive to my questions and comments along the way and Tom sent them back to address a couple outstanding issues I identified after they finished the first day.

The crew went to work quickly and finished in one day. I am a bit of a perfectionist so I would have trimmed neater, but I can spend the time on it now that the hard work is done. I will use this company again.

It went great! Tom was very professional and easy to work with. The bricks looked so much better after his work. When a section of them had some sand leftover on top, he came back to repair that part at no additional charge. The Polymeric sand was a solution we had not heard of from other vendors as a way to prevent mold and weeds from growing between the bricks. So far they are looking good as we head into spring. The brown dyed mulch was also an excellent solution to keep our beds looking fresh throughout the season. Tom worked diligently to make sure we were happy with his work before he called it complete. We plan to hire him again this spring for some additional landscaping projects.

A+++++ This was a wonderful experience. My paver patio is really beautiful. The extreme attention they gave to detail in the way they cut and placed the pavers is really impressive. It is much prettier than I could ever have imagined. Tom and his crew were extremly professional and very tidy. Also on a side note, they were kind enough to help my neighbor move a 30 year old Japanese Maple off of a truck and place it in her yard. True gentlemen!

They did an excellent job, work was done promptly, cleanup was thorough, including adding mulch to landscape area and grass seeding that wasn't in the statement of work. I've received multiple complements from neighbors and strangers walking by.

Tom was great to work with. The work was delayed due to having to wait for the swamp that is my yard to dry out, but once the yard was dry enough they quickly finished the job. They did such a good job I didn't realize they had been there until I noticed the bushes were gone. I'm planning on having him back to do more work.

We've received numerous compliments on the retaining wall. We're very satisfied with the services so far.

Tom discussed various options regarding material and price ranges with me. He allowed me to add some last-minute (but important!) changes, which most contractors would dread doing. He made time to meet with me throughout the project, answering questions + giving timely updates (in person or by email). Most impressively, he and his crew worked throughout several sub-freezing days in December, with no specific deadline made on my part, all the while doing a quality job and leaving the site clean and tidy.

Tom was very pleasant. He came out for an estimate promptly and walked around the neighborhood with me to look at plantings. He chose the color of the wall and it was a perfect color choice!

Tom and his workers did a great job. In fact, he did more than he had to to make it all look right (extra seeding). He and his crew kept everything neat and clean during and after the job. I definitely recommend Tom to anyone and would use him again, no question about it. Tom is very professional and sticks to his schedule. If weather interferes, he lets you know when he expects to be on the job again.

I was extremely pleased with Tom's quality of work and professionalism. Tom always showed up when he said he would. The work area was extremely clean; he cleaned up when he left. The only evidence that he was there was that the job was completed as expected. The initial bid and job was to do the landscaping in the front of the house and the patio in back of my house. After seeing how wonderful the landscaping and patio looked I called Tom back 2 more times to do additional work on the house and then asked if he could take a look at a project I was working on at another house. Tom received another job at my neighbor's house after my neighbor commented on the great work he had done at my house. I would recommend Tom and his company to anyone who wants quality work done on their house and done in a timely manner. Tom even set up the Cardinal seats I purchased when Bush Stadium closed (they've been in a box for years) on the patio.

They had the most complete and specific bid compared to others. I really liked the person who came and did the work. It was a small company and I was happy with the work initially. There was a small dispute in the end, but it worked out okay. I was generally dissatisfied in the end. Though the bid was specific, there were some more details that were not included which became an issue. I probably wouldn't use them again.

I was unhappy with his work. It took him awhile to email the estimate to us, there were items on there that we didn't want and he told us we could revise it. We took some things out and sent it back to him. He gave us 2 options for the trim so we picked out one and he had to send another estimate. We sent him our deposit and it took awhile for him to come out to do the work. He did an ok job but it wasn't what we expcted and it was pricer than what we expected. He said he had added his special touch. We had pavers that had weeds growing up, he said he used something so the weeds wouldn't come back up but 2 weeks later the weeds were coming back, we mentioned this to him when he came back for the final payment and he told us to use round up. We needed pavers/stones put in because they were muddy, we discussed the small pebble stones but they are sharp/chunky ones. He was nice and professional. There were areas that he had cut corners. He continually asked us to rate him on Angie's List. I would not recommend him.

The contractor made it known that there would probably be a delay in starting the job due to his workload. However, once the work begun, it was completed on time.

It is absolutely beautiful! Tom had all the design ideas which is why I went with him. The difference between the before and after photos are incredible. Our neighbors have said that we are now officially the most maintained house on the street! They offer many compliments. Great work, Tom Thanks again!
