Description of Work: No services were performed. Had one visit which went well. Was able to describe what I was looking for. For the next two months I contacted this company on 4 different occasions just trying to get a bid. Because of the ratings on this website I continued to try until finally giving up and telling the company I was no longer interested.

Description of Work: I bought a special offer package, complete yard clean up. The crew did a fine job and were quite professional.

Description of Work: Tom came out to give us an estimate for a very small landscaping job. He was prompt for the appointment and gave us some very helpful hints for us to do the job ourselves. Unfortunately, our job was very small and he is in his busy season and would not be able to do our job for at least a month or longer. He did tell us that he would do the work if we really wanted him to but I think it was really too small of a job and he had so many other bigger jobs going currently. He was very nice and I would certainly use his company if I was doing a larger job. He took the time to go over some plants and shrubs that would work well in the small area that we have to work in. But even tho we know we could do this ourselves, we choose not to. (some people like to work with planting and some don't) - We will look for an individual that would like to earn some extra income and that enjoys working with landscaping to do this and other small landscaping jobs. Sort of like a landscaping handyman or woman.

Description of Work: Came out to my house, explained what needed to be done, said he would send me his estimate, never sent an estimate, total waste of time, will never recommend Finishing Touch.

Description of Work: meet with Tom and went over issues with my grass. Tom was very professional and we address several options. Tom advsed all we needed to do is rough-up the yard and seed. I appreciate his honest evaluation - this solution was the less expense option for this time of the year. Tom came out on his own time and took care of the yard need. I plan to us him in the Spring if we need to do more advance work. Also, would use his company for future landscaping wall projects.

Description of Work: Tom Watson showed up on time (ahead of time after a call asking to) and gave me some wonderful ideas. This is almost three weeks after I contacted him but we were on vacation and it was our fault. He was here last night. Expect a bid from him today or tomorrow. Will complete this when we are done. Work was done today. they started promptly and work efficiently. Yard is beautiful and refreshingly neat. they left the property clean and tidy. The biggest plus for Tom Watson's company was Tom himself. When he came to give the estimate he walked with us through the neighborhood and showed us the benefits and detriments of all the plants in the beautiful yards of our neighbors helping us to plan for our own yard. This was not done for us when we had the yard landscaped originally or we wouldn't be having these problems now. We appreciate Tom's willingness to work with us and his efficiency. We would have him back any day.

Description of Work: 'spring' yard clean-up- trimming and pick-up

Description of Work: He is putting up a retaining wall for my neighbor and I have a retaining similar to the one he had and I had one piece that I wanted the end chipped off, and I have another place where the pieces or loose, and I asked if he could help and he said yes and I asked how much he would charge and he said nothing.

Description of Work: Tom and his crew removed some unsightly burning bushes next to our driveway. They then put down sod and finished the area with stone stepping stones. The next project they did was to design a stone connecting wall on the side of our house and select plantings. Again they had to remove a lot of large old bushes. The stone they used was beautiful. The plantings are beautiful as well. We also had an area in our backyard that racoons had dug up. His crew smoothed the area, added top soil and laid more sod. The workers worked hard and did a great job.

Description of Work: This is the second time I have used Tom and could not be happier. He helped design the entire project. Removal of all old shrubs and gravel. Built a bed, a stone border wall, weed barrier and plantings. He is always making suggestions to improve the project. the nicest thing I can say is that Tom really takes pride in his work and makes sure it is done perfectly. I highly recommend, and his prices are very competitve.

Description of Work: our street association needed some trees replaced. He recommended and planted the trees. He was prompt, did a great job. The trees has a one year warranty and he promptly replaced two that died.
