Cosmicrete Resurfacing

There was a problem since they had ordered the wrong finish coat and so they had to remanufacture it. They did that on last Wednesday or Thursday. I thought that the price was good for the work that they did. My overall interaction with them was okay. I wasn?t satisfied with the caulking when they were done. There were two spots and they did come out to fix them. It sometimes took me forever to get a call back from them, but it wasn?t intolerable. I had lot of people give me estimates for the job. They said that they would come out when I called them. I knew about how big the porch was and they asked me as to how big it was. They came as expected to do the estimate. They were interested in the job and they didn?t keep putting me off, which is what a couple of other companies did. They did tell me one thing with which I wasn?t really happy about. I thought that they would call me to set up a time and they thought that it would take a few weeks. I had a lot of stuff on the porch that needed to be removed for them to do the job. They called me one morning and said that they would come out in a few hours. I had expected an appointment set up in advance. I was able to move the stuff, but they offered to move it. I knew that they wouldn?t move it to my neighbor?s porch where I had already made an arrangement. They would have put everything on the front lawn. When they finally got the right stuff in, they put one coat and it was okay. Later on, they had to have a different product to get the right surface on the last coat and it was 3 coats I believe. In fact, they came over without even calling me. They said that they were going to send somebody else to look at it first and the next thing I know is that they were working on the porch. They weren?t good about communicating and letting me know when they were going to come. They came when they weren?t supposed to.

They were very nice, it's just that the resurfacing is more than the cost of replacing. Our bids for making an all new patio for less. They were very nice, but it just doesn't make financial sense to resurface. Their bid was pretty expensive. I am sure their product is fine, but it didn't make sense to do it. Our project would also involve mudjacking so it's better for us to tear it all out. They were very nice, very professional and got back to us right away. They did a very nice job. They were willing to give us all kinds of projects that they had done.

As a liscensed Architect, I work with instalers on a regular basis. Todd and his crew were extremely easy to work with, and very professional. They went above and beyond making sure that they got the job right, and that all of the products were installed properly. This meant extending the job a couple days, but with our poorly vented, humid basement it was beyond their control when the products were adequately dry. I truely feel that many other installers would have compromised the finish product and made some short cuts to bring the job to a close prematurely. I really felt that Todd had our best interest at heart, and really helped us turn the corner on making the basement a real asset. The antique umber stain on the grey leveling compound looks just like a spanish tile, is very durable, and it varied appearance really helps hide any remaining imperfections with the existing slab.

After having a bad experience with another contractor that poured the original patio, I called Todd Fleming to come out and give me a quote to fix the first contractor's botched attempt at a stamped patio. Todd came out and was confident that he could fix my 600 sq ft patio, which helped calm my nerves as I thought the patio would have to be torn out and replaced. Todd explained what would have to be done to fix the patio, including grinding it down to make it level and then leveling it out further with a thin layer of concrete before he could start the overlay process. Todd provided references and even invited me to his house to look at his own patio. His references raved about his work. Todd told me it would take about 5 days to complete the job and he showed up on the job site when he said he would be there. The job took 5 days, although one day was lost due to forecasted rain. Todd always called and kept me updated on where he stood on the project and what the next step would be, which I really appreciated. He also took the care to protect the siding by taping a barrier on the house. The patio turn out better than I expected. I was having trouble picking out colors, but Todd understood the look I was going for and it turned out perfect. I wouldn't hesitate to use Todd's company again in the future for any concrete repairs or resurfacing. He is highly competent and professional.
