+ -1 moreInstall/hardware quality was good. I was a repeat customer, having had the same person install the indoor unit last year. He gets an "D" rating for giving me a difficult time about install requirements and scheduled start time. UPDATE: Unit he mounted to the wall is falling off and the outdoor fence stops working whenever it drops below freezing. I'm going to have to pay a separate company to come out now to fix this.

Description of Work: After Barkley was hit by a car in 1996, I vowed I would never get another dog without a proper containment system. When I got Sophie, I researched invisible pet fences. AAA Radio Fence was VERY reasonable in comparison to the popular company at the time. Sophie learned her boundaries very well. Over a 16 year period,a few times the fence was severed by myself or the neighbor's Lawn Aeration treatments. Sometimes I was able to repair the fence. Twice, Bob came out. The last time the fence broke, I didn't t repair it because Sophie knew her yard. I called Bob when Baxter came to us and reminded him the last time he repaired the fence, he suggested I might need to consider a new fence because in 1996, a much smaller wire was used. Bob inspected the system and found it could not be salvaged. I purchased a new fence and Baxter is doing well. He needed more training because he is part Shih-tzu (ie. Devil) I have referred AAA Radio Fence to 4 other families that are also pleased!

+ -1 moreI thought he was very professional and helpful, although unfortunately it did not work for my dog, but that had nothing to do with him. I would use him again in the future if necessary.

+ -1 moreBob at AAA did a great job with our electronic fencing. He took the time to educate us on the nuances of the subject, then installed the fencing right on time and on budget. Our dogs figured out the system very quickly, and we haven't actually had to use the electronic collars for a couple of years now. (The dogs still know what boundaries they are not supposed to cross). I would recommend AAA Radio fence to anyone.

+ -1 moreI've called on him 3 times in 12 years and he has always been personable and professional. He's relaxed and acts as if you're his only client. Every time I've called he's come out within a few hours and arrives within minutes of the scheduled appointment. Not only would I recommend him but I have recommended him to my neighbors. Three families on my block have used his services.
Description of Work: Initial installation of fence and training: 5/20/98. Repair wire break and flag perimeter for new pet 6/04/08. In April I worried there was major problem when the fence wasn't working. I called and he came out immediately. It turned out the battery I replaced wasn't working in my dog's collar. He didn't charge for the normal service call.
