Description of Work: The company put a new front porch on our house (built in 1970 with just a small concrete slab for a porch), and updated two bathrooms that still had their 70's fixtures. Don Ware was always available when we had questions or concerns. The employees who worked in our home were very curteous and respectful to us. They kept us informed of what they were doing, and asked us how we wanted things done when appropriate. For the porch, I showed Don a picture of what I wanted it to look like, roughly. He took it from there, and designed a beautiful addition to our home. We get so many compliments on how wonderful it looks! The bathroom updates are amazing - great job with installing new tub and full-size shower, replacing all cabinets and tile. We have already talked with Don about our next project!

+ 1 moreThe work crew arrived promptly each morning and worked diligently throughout their time here. I was very impressed with their courtesy and professionalism. I might add that heat indexes were in excess of 100 degrees much of the time that they were doing our job. Don Ware checked frequently on the progress and clearly communicated well with his work crew, as well as with the roofing contractor on the parts where their efforts needed to be coordinated. They left no trash or mess - even put back the flower pots and landscape lighting that they moved. We were extremely pleased with the result. Don's attention to detail was very impressive. Our shutters were repainted before they were put back up; a sagging section of the garage door frame was shored up before siding. There were challenges with siding some areas of the house, and Don exhibited superior knowledge in coming up with solutions. When a couple pieces of the siding came loose during a storm shortly after the installation was complete, he made sure it was repaired promptly. It has weathered many storms since and has not come loose again. Overall, the completed job exceeded our expectations!
Description of Work: Preferred Construction replaced the old steel siding on our home with new vinyl siding. The owner of the company working on our roof recommended Preferred Construction (Don Ware) to put siding over just a portion of the house where a chimney was removed. Don was at our house within 24 hours, and offered alternatives along with clear explanations of the pros/cons of each. He gave us estimates for several options, and we decided to re-side the whole exterior. We were given a color selector that was big enough to compare to existing exterior surfaces. We are very pleased with our color choice, and the quality of the siding.

Description of Work: Preferred Construction, are my contractors who are doing the plumbing work for me currently. I am building a house and he is doing the plumbing work for the entire house which is a kitchen and four bath rooms.
