Appliance Rx

We brought our espresso coffee maker in for repairs. After three weeks of waiting they said that it was the water pump that needed to be replaced but they couldn't find the part. I looked on Amazon and found a part in less than a minute. I sent it to them asking if it was the right one and they said it might work. The next week they replied that it would be $346 in addition to the $100 we already paid when we first gave them in the beginning when I know the water pump cost $32. We told them we didn't want them to move forward and picked it up. Now that we have it it is even worse than before. It won't turn on at all now and they messed up the screws and left everything undone in the inside. This is probably the worst experience I've ever had with a business and I don't recommend them to anyone.

This company is used by GE to repair their appliances. I have a new dryer that is not drying clothes properly. The tech first came to my home on 5 December 2023. He was in and out in under 15 minutes but performed no diagnostics, except checking the exhaust system to assure that it is open. It was open. He stated that he would order an upper limit thermostat and return to install it, without having performed any diagnostics on that system. Weeks later I was scheduled to have the thermostat installed. Today, I got a call from Appliance RX informing me that the tech was sick and scheduled me for another week away. No offer of another tech or an earlier appointment. It was scheduled for benefit of the company with no consideration for the customer.

Appliance RX in Missouri was contracted through American home shield to diagnose and repair my refrigerator. They deemed the refrigerator as a loss and American home shield decided to send parts wanting the machine to be fixed. Appliance RX stated that this was a waste of their time, spending four hours installing a part on a broken machine and they did not have anyone to send out to complete this task. Now I am sitting here with a broken refrigerator no repairman coming to escalate the claim ticket in American Home Shield telling me we must wait on appliance RX to close out the ticket before a different repairman can be sent

Ryan, the service technician, was efficient, courteous, and forthright. We were well pleased with his services and use Appliance RX again, if necessary in the future. Also, will recommend them to others.

Fantastic. Scheduled an appointment for the next day. He cleaned and repaired our washing machine and took apart and cleaned our dryer. He was very courteous and professional.

Dealing with Appliance RX in Rolla, MO for our dryer repair was a textbook example of how customer service should be done. As we live "in the country" 20+ miles from town I was unsure of who to call for out of warranty appliance repair. I read the reviews on Angie's List and based on the responses called Appliance RX first. On the phone they explained the process and pricing and were able to schedule an appointment around my work. In addition I was given the technicians name who would be arriving. I was called the day before by Appliance RX to confirm the appointment and to ask if they could come earlier in the day as they had a cancellation. The technician arrived on-time and spent quite a bit of time trying to find a cause for our issue that would be less costly than a new circuit board. Unfortunately, it was the circuit board and a part needed to be ordered. I only had to pay for half the total amount of the service call and half the cost of the part on that first visit and was told they would call me as soon as the part was in to schedule a time to install the new board. Once again, great customer service as they called the day they received the part and scheduled around my work and again provided me the name of the tech who would arrive, He arrived on-time and had the repair done in about 20 minutes. The tech was very knowledgeable, polite, clean and well groomed. This was a company it was a pleasure to work with and both of the employees I dealt with were very professional. I feel that their pricing was fair as I was able to repair the dryer for less than half the cost of replacing it with a similarly equipped machine. I would highly recommend Appliance RX in Rolla, Missouri if you need appliance repairs.

I called Appliance Rx and explained the problem with my dishwasher. Right from the start, Mr. Lesesne was professional, polite and explained how he priced his services. Once he started working on the dishwasher found out it was the wrong part, my fault not his. So, had to reorder the handle. Through out this Mr. Lesesne keep in contact by email and phone keeping us updated. My dishwasher was a bit of a problem child but Mr. Lesesne never gave up. I would highly recommend Appliance Rx for appliance repairs.

This guy is amazing from start to finish! As a single mother, student, and person having three jobs to support my family I can never make a call or be available from 8-5. No problem, I called after 6 expecting a voice mail, and got a person. Despite being a Thursday night, I had an appointment for the following Monday, that fit my schedule. Brandon had it diagnosed and repaired in an hour! He even took the time to point out two things that likely caused the problem so it wouldn't happen again. All of this for half the price I expected. If you are looking for someone to repair an appliance, this is your guy.

I called Appliance RX because I had another company called Appliance Docs come out to work on my washing machine multiple times. They could not fix it after weeks of hassling them and their excuses. I called Lowe's in Rolla and they recommended Brandon at Appliance RX highly. They came the same day, showed up on time, had the part in stock to fix my machine and had it up and running in less than an hour. For such a young guy he really has his stuff together. I even received a follow up email asking how things were going. This company is top notch!
