What an adventure but it all worked out! I needed to replace a toilet and wanted to switch to a dual flush so Jacob gave me his opinion on the best makers to look for. I ended up ordering my new dual flush toilet on a Amazon which was a big mistake. Didn’t realize until Jacob went to install the new toilet that the toilet was shattered in one area and would not be installable. Since I insisted on a dual flush Jacob tracked down an alternative in Elk Grove (since local plumbing & home improvement stores don’t carry then in stock, only for ordering). He drove down to get the replacement and installed same day. With the setback of the shattered new toilet I had been prepared to return to the project on a later date but Jacob powered through so there wasn’t a hole in my bathroom floor. What I thought would be a simple replacement (& equally simple cost) ended up being a 3/4 day project and more expensive. But so it goes, I now have a wonderful dual flush toilet that I really enjoy. It was important for me to have the dual flush and I appreciated Jacob understanding when I wouldn’t budge for an easier-to-find standard toilet. Very happy with the final product and service.

Jacob was fast, honest and professional. I would highly recommend him for any plumbing jobs. I plan on using him for any future plumbing needs. My shower head is no longer leaking and I am very happy!

My handyman could not get the old shower head off so I called AAA Performance Plumbing. He came very soon, did the job well and gave me a discount. AND he also helped me figure out what to do about a nonurgent problem with much less trouble and expense than a more grasping plumber had offered. In fact he said it didn't need to be done at all. So he solved my immediate problem and removed another problem altogether. You can't ask better than that.

In terms of my experience with sub-contractors/tradesman of the years JACOB is ACE. He is very personable, friendly, responsive, punctual, and credentialed. When I looked him in the eye after talking to him I believed him to be a person of integrity. So when he gave me his final price I accepted it grudgingly. The cost of everything just seems so excessive these days. I’m sure it is me not accepting that realty. He showed up on time and did what he said he would do. There were just a couple of things I thought he could improve on. Such as allowing me opportunity to pull serial # from replacement garbage disposal before completing install. Making it easier to complete warranty paperwork. Also his having to make 2nd trip for missing part. I will say that it was the end of very long day for us both for the initial install and this more than anything probably caused this oversite. I would gladly refer Jacob to friends and family. It is so hard to know who to trust in terms of cost, skill, and reliability when dealing with contractors/sub-contractors. To me Jacob can be trusted to get job done in a reasonable time period and at a competitive price.

Jacob added my job to his work day, though he was already booked. This is the second time I have used his services and have found him to be reliable, skillful, and professional. I feel very comfortable with him, he explains his work, and answers all questions. I feel I have a plumber for life! I highly recommend his services.

I was impressed with Jacob from the moment I submitted my request for a quote. He called me immediately. He asked me to send him pictures of the hose bibs so he could see what the job areas looked like, and to assess the new hose bibs he would need (in order to give me a quote). He was concerned about one bib that was very close to my stucco, and he did a fantastic job (!!!) of not disturbing the stucco. He showed up promptly, and completed his work quickly and neatly. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who needs major or minor plumbing work, and will not hesitate to call him again myself.

Jacob was very punctual, explained everything he was doing, looked at several other areas where I might need repairs in the future and assisted me with a small repair free of charge. He was courteous, knowledgeable and friendly.

Jacob replaced the garbage disposal and installed new hot water dispenser and they work great!

Very good. Jacob arrived at the arranged time. Provided a step-by-step explanation once the issue was diagnosed, and the reasons why the spout nipple needed to be replaced.

Jacob did a great job at explaining what he expected to accomplish and how he would do it. He was able to reach a nasty clog from an exterior cleanout nearly 100 feet deep into our drainage system. Process took less than an hour.

Great! Called on a Saturday to see if we could somehow get this home project completed today - and Jacob found time for us. He was early, communicative and kept us informed all along the way as he installed our new faucet - even complimented our choice. He also showed us how to tighten the bathroom faucets ourselves next time. Nice guy, would definitely recommend!

Jacob responded very quickly, he was able to use the heavy duty snake and unclogged years of hard backed up sewage from the renters. ;) $200 was quoted price, $60 was for additional clog from another area. Will definitely use him again.

They showed up on time, worked fast, cleaned up well, and charged me exactly what they quoted over the phone. I wanted to understand more about what was happening and possible improvements that could be made in planning for the future (I have an old house). Jacob showed me everything he could and gave me some excellent recommendations.

I have called Jacob at performance plumbing twice one for a clogged drain the other for replacement of an old 1949 drain pipe that was in cinder block which he chipped out and replaced with all new pipe and fitting and does not leak both jobs were done right and complete made himself available even at five thirty on a week day to unclog the bathroom drain .These two jobs were done in February 2018 very good workmanship.

Great job! Jacob responded immediately to my call, assessed my situation, quoted a price, and established an install date. He would have done it the same day if I had wanted, but I preferred the next business day. He arrived right on time and got to work. The model wasn't one he knew but he had no trouble installing it after removing the old one. He had to replace the connecting drain pipe and install the disposal, and the final result was tidy, looked great, and worked perfectly. In the process he noticed a small problem with the dishwasher drain hose, explained it and offered to fix it as well, saying when he sees something wrong he wants to set it right. I let him do this quick job and it went well also. Jacob cleaned up and at the end and explained what to do if I had any problem with the installation or disposer. I am very happy with the work.

He came out promptly. After making an adjustment to the valve he determined it did not need replacing. Saved a bunch of money! He was great, he answered the phone, was on time for our appointment, was courteous, explained everything, and was honest. I definitely will call him for any future plumbing needs. I also like supporting a small family business.

Jacob responded to my phone call within the hour and promised to come out that day. When he arrived he inspected the toilet and told me what it needed, how much it would cost and assured me he could fix it that day. He also pointed out some other potential problems that could arise in the future. He told me if I preferred, he could replace the toilet and quoted a very reasonable price that included installation. I told him to go ahead with the new one. He was back the next day, right on time, and put in a new Kohler in a very short amount of time. Then he cleaned up my bath room. The total price was actually less than he had quoted. All in all, it was a very stress free experience. I highly recommend Performance Plumbing. I called Jacob at AAA Performance Plumbing to install a toilet I had already purchased at Home Depot. He was able to come to my home the same day I called. He called me when he was 30 minutes away and arrived on time. He was clear and professional about pricing and service. When he arrived, we soon realized that the Home Depot toilet was defective -- it was chipped at the bottom of the toilet. Jacob completely went above and beyond to help me deal with Home Depot and eventually source a toilet from a different company (one of his contacts) that could provide a replacement sooner. Instead of being frustrated by this setback, he was accommodating and constructive, helping me solve this issue in the best way. He helped me source a new toilet and agreed to come back to install it promptly. I highly recommend Jacob and Performance Plumbing. The prices are fair and the service excellent!
