Roger Black Handyman Service

I've been happy with Roger. He's busy and sometimes has to plan when to take on a job that will take a few days. .He works for people in a fair-sized area, maybe 30 mile radius from his home, so transportation is an issue in his planning. He has shown up on the days we planned and once called to ask to reschedule when somebody had an emergency repair. He has skills and equipment for a lot of jobs and his workmanship is plenty good. As a "handyman," he has to be versatile and I was impressed with some brackets he had to make to put the gutters on my mother's house. (The existing gutters were falling off and I don't think these will.)

Roger was recommended by a family friend and I was certainly glad I had found someone I could trust to do all the work inside and out. The house was sound, but just needed the touching up it hadn't gotten from my elderly parents. After he got through with our requested repairs, we had him go back and do the items the buyer's inspector found (a little faucet drip, slow hot water at one bathtub, mostly piddly stuff) and he did that in the time frame requested. When he was through with it, it was about the nicest looking house on the street.
