Description of Work: My husband and I purchased our home in September. It has a wood stove and we wanted to have it serviced by a chimney sweep before using it. I called Aaron's (after finding them on Angie's List) and made an appointment for service. Chris came and serviced our stove and discovered that it was installed completely wrong and the stovepipe coming into the house was the wrong pipe as well. If we had used the stove without first having it serviced, our home would have caught on fire! Chris called his boss and worked out a VERY good deal for us. We got a new efficient stove, a beautiful slate floor piece for the stove to sit on and a new (correct) stovepipe. One week later Chris and Steve came and installed the new stove, pipe and flooring. They were there about 4 hours and totally cleaned up after themselves. Chris also gave me a large bottle of special cleaner for the glass, free of charge! They were very professional, friendly, knowledgeable and prompt. I would refer Aaron's to anybody at anytime.

chimney caps, chimney repair, chimney sweep
 + 1 moreScott came and cleaned our chimney in April. He was extremely knowledgable, and helped us understand the problems we were having with our fireplace. He was very understanding and gave us several good options to fix our chimney and even found a unique option that would save us even more money. It took us a long time to decide which option we wanted. We opted to go with the least expensive fix, and he did an excellent job. In the installation there was an extra piece that needed to be fashioned, which was not in the original bid, but he did not charge us extra for this. His co-worker did the work on the roof, while he worked from below. Today (in September) he drove by and noticed that when his co-worker cut off the excess sleeve when attaching the cap, he didn't cut it as closely as he should have. So Scott knocked on the door and let us know this and that he would like to fix it. He went up and cut it properly in just a few minutes and at no charge. Scotts knowledge, professionalism, and commitment to excellence are exemplary. I cannot praise him enough.
Description of Work: Cleaned our chimney in April. Installed a chimney sleeve and chimney cap for us in June.
