Everything went great! They were very professional and cleaned up well after the job was done. They even cleaned out my gutters. Steve is very knowledgeable about chimneys, and doesn't try and sell you extra stuff you might not need.

I hired KC Chimney to tear down the top part of my chimney (~10 feet of brick) and replace it with all new brick to match the lower section of the chimney. Steve came up with several options on how to rebuild as well as offered up ideas on the fireplace as well which I appreciated as I was not very familiar with the different options of how to rebuild. He was able to work with me on scheduling a time that was best for me and my neighbors as we have a shared drive and had the work done in exactly the amount of time he thought it would take. I got estimates from all of the major chimney companies in the area and KC Chimney was the most reasonable and recommended using better materials (i.e. stainless liner vs. aluminum that all the other companies suggested). After meeting with Steve at the house and going over the different options that I had I realized how knowledgeable he was and it was clear that he was very detail-oriented and took the proper care with his work which was important for me as my home is a 1920's bungalow and I wanted to keep it as period-correct as possible. Overall Steve and his crew did a great job at keeping the work area clean and making the process painless for me. I would recommend KC Chimney to anyone after the experience that I had with them.

I would love to give a very positive review of KC's Chimney Service. I needed to have my roof replaced and the brick chimney was in dire need of repair. The roofer suggested I get the chimney done first. My home was built in 1901, so the chimney has taken a beating over the years. I was going to just have the brick re-mortered, but after meeting with KC's Chimney, I decided to replace the chimney with stainless steel pipes. In the process, I learned my attic furnace was not vented, so they took care of that, replaced all the old pipes to the water heaters and furnaces with stainless steel, and stainless steel liners. The pipes are absolutely beautiful, and look great with my new roof. Steve and his worker were so nice to work with, very professional, and worked their project in with my roofers, they were all here on the same day. Their prices were fair and competitive with others I contacted, they are BBB Accredited and I found them on Angie's List when I joined. I love my finished product and would highly recommend them to everyone. Thank you, Marla Snyder
