XTREME XTERIORS

The team showed up a little late on Wednesday, June 4th, but they worked their butts off to get as much done as they could before nightfall. Unfortunately, they had to finish-up the next morning in the rain. Luckily it was a light rain, and they were able to finish by Noon-ish on Thursday. I only have one complaint, which hopefully can be rectified easily. Some areas on the roof have become warped over time due to settling (the house is 52 years old), and presumably because of that there is a small gap between the edge of the house and the roof line, whereby I can actually see up into the attic. The solution may be as simple as raising the gutters closer to the edge of the roof line, which Brad and Andrew have already suggested. I have contacted LeafGuard who was supposed to come out last Friday to inspect the gutter system and give me an estimate on raising the gutters, however, in keeping with LeafGuard's modus operandi, I have heard nothing from them. So I'm going to give Xtreme Xteriors the go ahead to raise the gutter system so rainwater won't leech behind the gutter getting the fascia wet and rotting it out any further.

It went fine. 2 techs came out and checked the shingles, checked the caulking on the vents, and pounded down some nails. They didn't find any major problems. They were at the home for about an hour and a half at most.

An employee came out and was up on the roof for about an hour or so. I tried to catch him before he left, but I missed him. I called him and I got a verbal report and he told me a couple things he had done, such as tapping nails down and I think he did fix a place where the gutter was coming away from the roof too. I was expecting him to send a written form of what he found, what he had done to remedy problems and how things looked, but I didn’t. I have not had a leak in the house since he came out, so I guess he did a good job. I have not gone up on the roof to check his work though, but this was on a one story home.

He did nothing but lip service. No replacing missing shingles. Didn't come in the house to see where the leaks were.

We started our new roof process by first having another company come out and give us a quote. That company said our roof was too old and too far gone to get insurance to pay for it. Thinking that I would need to pay out of pocket, I started to call multiple companies to get quotes. Lucky for me, I called Brad with Xtreme Xteriors! He came out, and immediately said he can get insurance to pay for it. He was aware of a little known ordinance for my city, which (without going into all the details), essentially required insurance to pay for our roof. They helped us file the claim, and were there at the house when the adjuster came to assess. He explained the ordinance, pointed out all the areas (including gutters) where there were issues, and overall handled it very professionally. They have now completed the new roof and gutters, and everything looks great! Our roof is rather large, and they finished the job in two days (duration they promised from the beginning). Gutters went on a few days after (again, as communicated from the beginning on how the project would be handled). Roofers cleaned up very well, I had to call Brad after the gutter guys left a little mess, but Brad fixed it that day. We are very happy with how the whole process was handled from beginning to end, and I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone!

XTREME XTERIORS representatives contacted me about the roofing project the day after I bought the coupon. They arranged for a time to meet and we did. They measured the roof and got back in touch with me about the cost within that week. The cost difference between the coupon and what I would have to pay past the 2,000 sq. ft. coupon from XTREME was just too much for me at this time. They reduced the price a very reasonable amount to try to help me, but it still was too much money for me to do at this time. That's why I'm asking for the refund.

The service was good, because what they found, enabled me to get a brand new roof. They worked diligently, effectively, professionally, and kept me through the process. They worked with my insurance company, and I wound up with a brand new roof, and paid not much more than what my deductible was. That was fantastic of them, they were here when they promised they would be, they worked and installed the new roof within 48 hours, they put me up new gutters, which I did not think was included. Where I live, is in a city that prohibites repair work on a shake roof, and I have shingle over shake, and there was very little work they could do on it, but they saw hail damage which could get me a new roof.

The workers reported promptly and Brad was there the first day to get them started and introduce me to the foreman of the work crew. It took them two days to complete the job and they cleaned up around the house upon completion of the job. Andrew stopped by following completion of the job to insure that everything had been completed including clean up. I did have to call for the form that showed total replacement of the roof for insurance purposes but it came promptly following my call. It was a minor delay and I am sure it was due to the fact that was a Big Deal offered by Angie's list and I know Xtreme Xteriors was very busy due to the offer I could have filled out this review in the fall but I am a firm believer in evaluating the job after it has had a chance to perform. For that reason, I waited to complete the review until we had spring rain storms. I have to say that we have had several good storms since then and the results have been wonderful. The roof has not leaked in any area and I am now ready to paint the ceilings on the inside as it won't be wasted effort. Thanks for a job well done.

It was all right. They came out and they looked at the roof and they try to get their clan going for some potential to put it in and fan out the way. Overall, it was good. When they pulled up the computer wires with their vehicle, they do provide free assessment so I wouldn't actually know how much did I pay at that time.

They were as helpful as they could be. I appreciated their help. I was going to put this roof on my mother's house which we have for sale. It just didn't work out.

I forgot to tell them that I was on Angie's List. They did a very good job on about 25 houses around here. They came here looking for a job. They were in the vicinity, and he came knocking on the door. Everybody seemed to have a good experience on them. The crew was all Mexican, but they did a good job. Everybody checked them out, and they had good quality.

The workers came while I was away, and I spoke with Brad after their inspection. He gave me a thorough review of the state of my roof and made some recommendations for the future. He was professional, forthcoming, and answered all my questions.

The appointment was scheduled with a few days of purchasing the Big Deal. The owner of the company and an associate called prior to the appointment and arrived on time. They both assessed the current condition of the roof and found a few places where the rubber around the vents had deteriorated. Afterwards, the owner told us our roof was in decent condition and that we had 5-10 years left on the life of the roof. They were very professional and did not push any unneeded services. Overall, they were at our home for approximately an hour and we were very satisfied.

The service went well. We were happy with their service. They cleaned up after themselves and he informed us on why we need to do the service regularly and what could happen if we do not have the service done.

That was very good. There was a little mix up in them coming out when they said they were going to but when they came out they were great and they fixed the problem and they didn’t charge me because I’m an Angie’s List (because I told them that I got them from Angie’s List). They did the work for free. It wasn’t a big job. I have some leaking from the snow that we had in December and it leaked in and he told what the problem was that it was bad design and that all we could do is to go up there and what he did is he seal that all really well and said we just had to get the snow off that particular part of the roof because it’s a bad design and it turns into an ice trap so he went up there and at the same time I have a missing shingle and he had an extra shingle and he put that on and he didn’t charge for any of that.

There were no additional fees and they did a good job. The were earlier for the appointment because they finished a previous job faster than expected.

I could not have been more pleased with the services provided. I would highly recommend them.

It went really well, with Brad actually addressing a number of the issues and then volunteering to come out and re-address them if we still have leak issues. That's way beyond what I'd expected him to do for $99. He's very knowledgeable, courteous, prompt. I will use him for certain if we ever have a need for a roofer in any major way.

Purchased Angie's list deal after finding a couple of wet spots in our attic that appeared to be coming from snow melt on our roof. Xtreme Xteriors was quick to respond to the Angie's list inquiry and, were able to come out early the following week. I met two technicians that asked me what problems I had. They got quickly to work, caulking all of the roof vents, painting the white PVC pipes to better match the roof and checking the overall quality of the shingles and flashing. They noticed one area where birds had built a nest into a small gap under the eve. They fixed this location as best they could, and promised to come back and put proper flashing in that location, free of charge, the next time they were in town.

What I really appreciated was the quick response to phone calls since it took several before we connected. Plus, I didn't have to be home to meet them. We discussed what I wanted done and they did it. Simple as that and a job well done.

Provided the service professionally and on time. Communication was excellent. He called after the service was performed and gave details of his findings. I would call for future services.

Brad Hughes with Xtreme Xteriors was all we could of expected out of a contractor...punctual, efficient, professional, honest, candid, and knowledgeable. We purchased their $99 coupon for the purpose of cleaning the gutters from the debris build-up. He performed the services (maintenance and gutter debris removal) on two (2) homes that we own--paid an additional $99. The coupon's intent was for roof repair and maintenance. It was our mistake, but Brad surpassed expectations by not only honoring the coupon, but cleaning the gutters in the process. It was clear he had a great work ethic, and reported his findings with integrity. His knowledge was impressive, his honesty appreciated, and his work ethic refreshing.

The service person was efficient and provided helpful suggestions for future repair issues.
