Very well. They were fast and very professional. They went the extra mile by cutting the wood into 18" sections so the neighbors could use the firewood. The yard was spotless after they were finished. Make sure to have the young children watching...the kids love watching them.

Excellent! I called Monday morning and Mike met me at my house Monday afternoon. He gave me a fair quote on the spot and even advised that some of the work did not need to be performed now but could instead wait a year or so if I wanted. He estimated that his crew would get to my house the following week, but in fact they were able to get to the house and complete the job on Thursday. The work was excellent and they cleaned everything up (even taking a very large limb that had fallen in a storm, for no additional charge). The trees and the yard look great.

Better than I could possibly have expected. The price was fair and Mike was prompt, knowledgeable, and professional in every way. When Mike came for the estimate (which I accepted on the spot) he said that the work would be done within two weeks. When I arrived home that evening I found the work completed that same day. I highly recommend!

They removed 3 trees very quickly and cleaned up all the debris. Service was exceptional.

I called Mike on Friday afternoon and he came out to inspect the job and give an estimate that evening. I came home from work the following Tuesday and it was all done and cleaned up. They even hauled out a pile of lava rock that I was having trouble giving away. I didn't see the work being done, but the results were great.

Mike came by early this morning (6/9/17), explained the issue with my tree and the pricing for all options available to me. He said he would have his guys out here to take care of the tree. The groups of guys showed up a couple hours later, were here less than an hour and I have a normal looking crab-apple tree now. Very happy with the service. Super fast service, Mike even called me to make sure I was happy with the result BEFORE the guys even left my premises (in the event I wanted more trimmed or even if the tree needed to be cute down). The guys cleaned up the mess and took all debris with them.

All work was done according to plan and my complete satisfaction. I wouldn't hesitate in any way to recommend this customer-focused company.

We called Mike to help us with our sick and/or dying trees. He was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. He gave us a couple of options and then gave us a great quote. Mike and his crew came out a couple of days later to cut down and trimmed trees, remove bushes and trim/clean up all needed shrubbery. All of the workers were very nice and polite. They did an amazing job cleaning up. We are very happy with Choice Tree Service. They did an awesome job! I highly recommend Choice Tree Service to all.

Mike and his crew were outstanding! Best tree service I've ever hired. They were prompt, courteous and very professional. All I can say is stand back and watch the action, these guys get it done and get it done right! You won't be disappointed.

After buying service through an Angie's List coupon, I was promptly contacted by Choice to come out and review the work to be done. Service date was left open pending an opening in Choice's schedule; came home from work about two weeks later and was surprised to see the work had been done. Though we didn't get an advance call, the trees were professionally trimmed and look much better. We are very pleased with Choice's work.

Mike was very responsive. I called on the weekend and he was over at our house in 15 minutes to assess the project and provide a verbal estimate. This was not a huge project, but we needed it handled quickly and Mike certainly delivered.

I'm very pleased with my experience using Choice Tree Service. Mike was able to provide a free estimate the day after I initially contacted him. When I explained that my schedule may be hard to coordinate a time for the work, he was very accommodating by fitting me into their schedule the same day as the estimate was provided. He called ahead of time before arriving with his team and they all worked very quickly, including moving all items (patio furniture, flower pots, etc) away from their work area as well as replacing everything once they were done. A very large, very old tree needed a significant amount of work, including large limbs hanging over my house and neighbor's yard. It looks great after they trimmed and cleaned it up and I feel much more comfortable with the risks of damage that the tree could have done now reduced. They also completely removed another tree that had outgrown the yard area. The team cleaned up all debris from their work in addition to the tree limbs that had already fallen; they left it cleaner than it was before they started work. The tree removal included stump grinding which was done very well, leaving almost no signs of the work. I'm very pleased with the work completed, with the professional and friendly mannerisms of Mike and his full team and plan to use them again for work needed on additional trees in my yard.

Mike was able to come give us a quote the week we called. He was straight forward and gave us his professional advice about the tree. He gave us a time frame for when the job could get done and it was done within that time frame. The job was done quickly and efficiently and the tree looks beautiful now!

His crew showed up on time and did the work in a very professional manner. Not the cheapest guy in town but he has a great crew and they are very dependable. Would highly recommend this business.

Mike and his crew were excellent. They completed the removal of two large trees and the trimming of other trees in our backyard and the removal of two ornamental trees in our front yard in a very professional and timely manner for a fair price. I would definitely recommend Choice Tree Service.

The crew started at 8:30 am and they were done - completely cleaned up-limbs chipped and yard raked of any debris by 12:30! They worked like a well-oiled machine and it really was interesting to see the team work. The Bandit chipper they used was a key to the magnificent clean up. Great job and we'd call them again in the future!

It went great! Mike showed up with a large highly accomplished crew and all the necessary equipment. It was quite impressive to watch. My neighbors on both sides of me also hired him. He took down a large ash tree next door for one neighbor and trimmed many trees for my other neighbor.

Great. I was headed to deploy 5 days after the job was done, called, got a prompt estimate, job done and cleaned up like nothing happened. Very respectful of my situation and was a very trustworthy man to interact with.

Excellent! Mike Johnson responded very promptly to my initial request, and came out for a walk-through with me soon after my first contact with him. We agreed on a price, Mike sent me an invoice by email, and I signed it electronically. We then arranged a general date when his crew would come out ("sometime during the week of XYZ"). It so happened that we had high-wind storms the week that Mike's crew was planning to come out to my place, and they ended up responding to homeowner requests for help. This was fine with me, since I had told Mike that I was in no rush. I emailed him after his crew did not show up during the aforementioned week, just to be sure that we were on the same "wavelength". Mike responded very promptly with assurances that he would get my job done the following week, and explaining to me about the unanticipated volume of storm-related job requests he had received. Sure enough, on Tues. morning (9 AM) the following week, Mike and his crew of at least seven guys showed up and started working...but not before Mike asked me to walk around the house with him one final time to be sure he was crystal-clear on what was to be cut down & removed, and what was to be left. It took his crew about 90 minutes to complete the job. At one point I even heard a knock on my sliding glass door--it was a crew member being sure about one shrub in question. I thought Mike and his crew were very professional, hard-working, prompt, etc. Their cleanup work was outstanding--including even raking up several leaves from my neighbor's backyard--the leaves had fallen off one of the locusts they cut down. I believe I got more than my money's worth--Mike even threw in a couple of "freebies" including grinding one additional stump for free. I would hire him again in a second. And, perhaps more importantly, I would wholeheartedly recommend him and his company, Choice Tree Service.

Mike and his crew were awesome!! Huge tree fell on our house during storms leaving gaping hole in our roof. Mike and his crew were out within 2 hours and tackled a very difficult job during a rainstorm! Can't say enough good things about this company! Highly highly recommend!!

Mike Johnson came out to my property to give me an estimate to remove a tree. He informed me that by removing one of the large clumps on my river birch it could affect the whole tree and possibly even kill it. He then gave me a fair estimate to trim that tree and 3 others. As a courtesy he trimmed my lilac bushes and old red bud tree in the front yard. He and his crew were here right when promised and did an excellent job. The trees look so much healthier. They made sure all of the yard was cleaned up from any debris left from trimming. I would highly recommend them.

Wonderful work. Cleaned up in the rain, and rained a bunch that night and nary a drop. Our hero for sure, and a good guy

We had a fairly large tree die in our yard. They did an excellent job removing it. He had a big crew with him and they were very courteous and efficient and they had the tree down and everything cleaned up right away. I would highly recommend Mike Johnson and his company.
