After observing Mike and his crew remove a neighbor's tree, I was impressed with the quality of the work and the professionalism with which the crew worked. I checked out the reviews of Choice Tree Service on Angie's List, got a bid from Mike, and decided to go with his company. After I accepted the bid, Mike said he would give me a call within the next week to schedule the work. He called me a couple of days later, on a Friday and we scheduled the removal for Monday. He and his crew showed up in force early Monday morning and went about the job of removing the rather large tree (approx. 3 foot trunk diameter). The tree was down, loaded on trucks and the yard cleaned up in short order. I appreciate that Mike was on site for the bulk of the time his crew was there. His stump grinding specialist came shortly after the tree removal and ground out the rather extensive stump and root system that was both above and below ground level. Mike and crew came out the next day and loaded the wood chips and again left the area immaculate. No money was expected until I was happy with the completed job and I was happy. I highly recommend Choice Tree Service and will definitely use them in the future.

This is a very professional company. Mike was up front with total cost which was very much appreciated. Couldn’t be happier with the work done. The tree was in a tricky spot in the yard and nothing was harmed with the removal. The crew went above and beyond with the clean up afterwards. I highly recommend this company.

Mike did a great job! He was very responsive. He called me back within the hour and was at my property within 30 minutes. He was very knowledgeable and I appreciated the fact that he listened intently and addressed my specific concerns. I was very pleased with the quality of work and was pleasantly surprised to see exactly how high and how far out he went in the trees to trim. Small detail but one that speaks to his character, I noticed that he cleaned up another tree and removed a broken twig that had been hanging from a power line that was no where near his work site. He removed all debris. Without looking up, we would not have known that he had been there.

Wonderful! I had been experiencing multiple limbs falling down and knew that it was time for the trees to be tended to. Mike was very responsive, explained everything in detail and had everything done by the time I came home from work just a few days later! They cleaned up everything (spotless) and the cost did not differ from the estimate. Very professional and courteous.

Awesome! They were so fast, in and out in 30 minutes. Mike was a great guy to figure out exactly what I wanted and when they could do it. Price paid was same as estimate, real professional, would definitely hire again.

It went very well. Mike showed me just which branches would come off in the uplift. The crew kept checking in as they were working to make sure it was what I wanted. Very tidy and efficient.

Mike was very conscientious about keeping the appointment for an estimate, staying in touch with me before he arrived. Once he arrived, I was impressed with his knowledge and the fact that he had proof of insurance immediately available when I asked about it. As a very pleasant and convenient coincidence, his estimate was the best I received. I had pretty much made up my mind to use him if he was in the ball park money wise, so his very reasonable price was icing on the cake. He and his crew showed up within a week as he said they would when I agreed to use him. The work went very smoothly and quickly. We are very satisfied, and will call upon him again.

Choice was the best! Response was lightening fast; delivery of services was immediate; tree and shrub trimming, shaping, and removal was fantastic; and results were excellent. Choice went above and beyond my expectations- when I returned home there was not a stray stump, branch or leaf anywhere, even the street was pristine! Neighbors lost huge branches and entire trees in the past two storms - my huge trees stood strong. Thank you so much Choice!

Work was done in a timely manner and patio area left cleaner than before they arrived.

Went very well, crew was on-time, and got right to work, they were done in an hour and a half and clean up and everything.

Mike was able to come out and give me an estimate within a couple of days (unlike two other companys that didn't even bother to call me back). Mike took his time looking at the trees and talking about my options. There was no time crunch to get the work done, but within 4 days of authorizing the work, a large crew was out to trim the trees. The trees look great and there was nothing left on the ground when they left. I will definitely have them back again when I need tree work.

They did a wonderful job and cleaned up all the trees and branches as if they weren't even there. I was very happy with the service they performed.

I called Mike Johnson on August 23rd to get an estimate to remove the tree limb from the house and cut down the tree. He was able to get out to give us an estimate the very next day (Thursday). I called Friday to OK the estimate. The crew showed up at 9:00 Saturday and was completely done by about 10:30. They took care to move a bird bath and statuary from the affected area. In the debris path we have a butterfly garden and a newly planted small bush. Somehow they did not disturb any of the plants, even though many branches fell in the area. We did not have the stump ground down as that would cost an additional $300. The yard, house, and sidewalk was left very clean. We will definitely call when we need tree service again.

I don't think there is one part of any tree they did not touch, actually did more work than we discussed. Worked with the owner Mike who was on the job all day, clean up was great, happily gave Angie's discount. Have used 3 or 4 other tree services in past 25 years I've lived here but none came even close to this job!

I received several quotes before deciding to go with Choice Tree Service for my removal. Mike was very pleasant and prompt when evaluating my removal and estimating my costs. The pricing was reasonable and the job completed was above expectation. I was also pleased with the cleanup and haul away of tree debris.

Every estimate we had with recieved from other tree services were overbooked for several weeks and stated the job would take from several hours to a full day for removal. Mike and his team had offered a competitve price for the job during the estimate and even squeezed our tree removal into his schedule the same day. It laterally took 45min for Mike and his coordinated team to dismantle our massive tree, removed it piece by piece with their machinery and cleaned up the mess as though nothing ever happened. EVEN REMOVED THE STOMP. Great experience!
