Signature exteriors is a roofing and exteriors company. We are experts in the restoration of roofing, siding, and gutters. We helped restore homes to their original condition without any worry or frustration. Award winning.
"Date of incident - 2/14/2025 In December 2024, we reached out to this company for shutters. Dustin Skeeters was our contact guy and sent someone out to measure and discuss options. We had to follow up for the quote, then had to follow up for business to pick a color and design. We picked color and design and in the contract it said we owe a deposit and that Dustin would let us know when the shutters were in and then to schedule an install date/time, but never heard from anyone. We never heard back from anyone for weeks after, so we followed up on Feb 13th and asked if we could cancel because it was taking too long. They said we couldn’t cancel as we had a contract (which was a signed estimate). But in the email to us, they said we could cancel, but just buy the shutters from them for $450 and that Dustin would call to discuss. We never heard from him, so we weren't given time to make our decision. The next morning, installers showed up without notification (figured the company would give us heads up of installation). We called Dustin, he didn’t answer. He then called back, was VERY unprofessional, mocking my husband, and didn’t listen to what we had to say. Basically we wanted to see what our options were as we didn’t think the color was the same as we picked out/ordered. He was talked down to and we asked to speak to the manager. He said we could call on Monday. This was a Friday, Feb 14th. When the owner, Jeramie Beechler, called us, he right away was ignorant and insulted us calling my husband a “little girl and let’s meet up and fight”. TOTALLY unprofessional. Then cursing at him and demanding payment or they will put a lien on our house. We’ve never experienced this type of service before. Totally unprofessional and no one should be treated like that. We were simply asking for answers and opinions/options. They did not want to work with us and I’m not sure how they get business treating people the way they do. We were unable to work with them as we couldn't get a word in and I don’t know how they are in business. Two bullies yelling at customers for no reason. We are just beyond confused and frustrated we were treated this way and feel threatened. We would like for the public to know how unprofessional this company is and to never give them business."

Even though you don’t look at your roof often, there are some telltale signs that you should have your roof professionally cleaned. It’s best to hire a professional roof cleaner as soon as you notice signs of wear and tear to preserve the essential feature’s longevity. Some indicators to look out for include:
Dirt and grime buildup
Moss or black algae growth
Dirt buildup under shingles
Shifting roof shingles
Plant growth
The cost of roof cleaning is $455 for the average homeowner. However, this cost can range from $150 to $1,000, depending on the size, pitch, and material of the roof, as well as the cleaning method used.
Since roof cleaning costs between $0.20 and $0.60 per square foot, it’s fair to say that the larger your roof, the more you pay for cleaning services. Additionally, if you have a steep roof, you can expect to pay an additional $0.15 per square foot due to the complex nature of the job and additional safety equipment needed.
A professional roof cleaning lasts about a year on average, so it’s best to do it annually. This schedule helps catch any roof problems before they become extensive and helps prevent mold, moss, and algae from forming. If you live near the coast, annual roof cleaning will help prevent salt buildup on your roof. You can add professional roof cleaning to your yearly home maintenance checklist to ensure you never miss a year.
On average, cleaning a roof will take between two to five hours. This timeline depends on the size and slope of your roof and the severity of any stains. Cleaning roof stains can take additional time, especially if there are signs of moss or algae.
In addition, the age of your roof makes an enormous difference in the time it takes to clean it, as older roofs need more gentle care. If you have significant landscaping in your yard by your house, your professional roof cleaner will need additional time to protect it from cleaning chemicals.
It is not advisable to DIY a roof cleaning job. Cleaning your roof yourself could lead to hazardous falls, scrapes, and even burns, making this a dangerous project. Additionally, using the wrong cleaning solution or cleaning method on your roof could risk damaging it. While some markets offer a DIY roof cleaning kit, these products often speed up the deterioration of your roof.
To ensure that you and your roof are protected, it’s best to leave roof cleaning to a professional with the right chemicals, tools, and equipment to complete the job safely.
