Had to have another HVAC fix their mistakes that should have never happend. They sold used parts as new and did not complete repairs the first trip event though issues were still there. Other HVAC found the problems that should have been obvious to any trained tech and would have only cost a fraction of what they charged and the number of trips they did,

Description of Work: They removed my old heating and cooling system and replaced it with a new, larger, more efficient one. I love it! Has really helped with my electric bills and is so much more quieter. I would definitely use them again.

I called to request service on my ac unit. technician did come right away as he was already in my area according to the office. im, mediately reported hearing a noise he diagnosed as bearings going out, and recommended a new unit. I did say I was interested in a new unit in the event this one fails, he looked around, estimated my double wide for size etc. sat in his van for awhile then came in with a bill for 130 dollars, I questioned him on that and he said he gets 75 dollars an hour and travel time to my place and back to the office counts. he said if I buy a new unit from them they will deduct that money. he did go flush out the unit at my insistence, any way he told me I would get an estimate today on a new unit, but then the office manager called and told me they don't put new units in a double wide, so I am now really confused since the technician said he had worked for them several years. why did I get charged for his time getting the information for my estimate. I feel taken. thanks Joyce Cash

We are sorry you were not happy with the service we provided to you. Perhaps I can help clear up some issues. You were not charged the full mileage charge, because yes, we were in the area. Therefore, you were only charged half. The $130 charge is for the split mileage and driving time, a little material that was used, and the labor to diagnose the issue. Our technicians check many things on units before determining they should be replaced, which takes a little time. Regarding the issue with us not quoting a new unit, sometimes our units just don't fit in a trailer / double wide circumstance. This just happened to be one of those times and instead of us selling you something that just isn't going to make you happy or save you money we declined to quote you a new unit. We don't believe in selling something that isn't going to work out to the customers best advantage. Our technician assessed the situation which only takes a minute and he brought the information back to our service manager who decided it wouldn't be a good fit for your home. We are sorry you were disappointed but we truly try to do what is best for the customer.

That date was on a Saturday. We have a 3rd party answering service to answer our phones and take care of calls that are after hours. I checked our log and we have no record of any call from this customer at all. Either he has the wrong company or our answering service didn't do their job and take the message and page our technician. We always return our calls to our customers.

We called them as a new customer at 8:00 am and they were here and had the unit fixed by 11:30 am. We did not expect such prompt service esp. since we were not an established customer. The repair man showed up and was extremely helpful and took the time to explain preventive maint. as well as what was wrong with the unit. He was very professional yet friendly. I like that combination.

Good Job. They came when we called about the a/c not working on a very hot June day, inspected the old unit, described the problem and offered alternative of repair of old unit or replacement of entire system. I elected replacement because of the age of the system and the bid that they gave me on a new system. They came out within two days of placing the order with two men who worked all day removing the old units, installing the new ductwork and equipment and getting everything back up and running by the end of the day. Left me a bill for the amount of their bid which I paid the next week. Came back once without charge to check on balky thermostat and fixed it. No complaints about anything!
Description of Work: Replacement of a 30+ year old heating and air conditioning system in a commercial building with a new Energy Star rated system; natural gas heating with electrical a/c coil and compressor including rerouting coolant lines, expanding ductwork and removal of demolition debris.

I bought a new office building which was 108 years old with a 1970's HVAC system which still worked until the first hot days of summer arrived when the ac died. Too old for parts to repair and had to replace immediately because business was shut down until fixed. Decided to replace the entire HVAC system instead of just the ac. Buffington Bros. came on Tuesday to do an estimate and after a day of researching other options I accepted their bid to put in and new Carrier 100,000 BTU 92% efficiency natural gas furnace with a Carrier Puron Four Ton AC, including a new air return duct. They sent two men the next day who arrived on time, worked almost ten hours with only a short break, and came back on time the next morning to finish up around midday. Everything was finished and working less than two days after signing the contract. They removed the old equipment and cleaned up their work area before leaving and sent me a thank you card and customer satisfaction survey about ten days later. Very professional job on time and as advertised in their bid.
