Description of Work: Can't stay on the job. Too many irons in the fire. Took over a year to complete what should have been done in eight weeks. Workmanship was good, but just can't delay that long. Terminated.

Description of Work: Remodel of kitchen, three bedrooms, dining room, living room. Simply too, too extensive a job for their level of experience. They did some nice work for us previously on a single-room remodel, but this job was beyond their capability. We felt they should have divulged that from the outset, and not after the fact.

 + 1 moreJosh and Jim and their workers showed up on time everyday, was conscious of our dogs, not leaving our gate open. They inspected their own work and did it over if there was any flaw. It was rare that there were any problems. They did crown molding and baseboards that were done so well they looked like they had been there forever. So smooth. Josh had ideas about the kitchen cabinets, suggested changes to the cabinet maker and it was more than I expected. The cabinets are incredible. Josh and Jim stained and finished the cabinets themselves and the finish is so smooth. If we wanted something that wouldn't work they would try to suggest something that would work and give us what we wanted. They were so easy to work with. We decided after the unfinished walls were in and wired that we wanted to double the size of one of the bedrooms which means tearing out the wall and rewiring. Not a problem. Great attitude, worked it out on the computer so we could see it and did the job beautifully. I wanted a corner seat for sitting and reading in my bedroom, also book shelves along the wall under the windows but I wanted the shelves built as units and not anchored so I could removed them if I wanted to change the room around. Josh worked with me on it and brought in our wonderful cabinet guy, who did our kitchen cabinets. Josh said he would do a better job. Absolutely beautiful was what they did, more than what I asked for. Also my review of my kitchen cabinets and breakfast bar. More than I could even have imagined. I can't say enough. They are honest, hard working and easy to work with.
Description of Work: This father and son team were the general contractors for a home package we bought from Sutherlands. They had excellent sub contractors associated with them that did A plus work, showed up on time. Josh and Jim Copeland are the best. High standards of work, easy to work with when we came up with new ideas or changing floor plan. Josh has his computer handy and moves walls and showed us how it would look. We have had experience with other contractors who were just the opposite. Josh and Jim have an excellent knowledge of energy saving construction. They also build ICU homes which are tornado proof. I can't say enough for this father and son team. I would never use anyone else. They are the best.
