+ 0 moreTalks the talk, but just can't get the job done. Project seemed to start out well, however this company lacks the experience, and skills to complete projects. Didn't properly read print and built all walls at incorrect height. Every door opening was either framed to the incorrect size and/or out of square. Tried to cover up mistakes and continually blamed others for the problems. Improperly installed all sheet metal panels. Insisted on being fully paid, but refused to correct mistakes and/or replace damaged materials. Didn't show up as scheduled, or completes tasks as discussed, then completely refused to finish job. This company is small family business run by the husband and wife. Completely unprofessional and unreliable. Foul mouthed and insulting to me and my family on numerous occasions in public I requested proof of insurance or bond, but only received a cussing from his wife.

Description of Work: I hired A&E Construction to build a garage. The contractor departed from the specifications agreed upon and argued each time I asked about why he did so. He left work undone that he had agreed to do, took longer than he had agreed, and was unprofessional and unpleasant. I would not hire this contractor a second time.

+ 2 moreDid not come at times he said he would. Did not clean up behind himself following completion of work. Called for him to complete so things not done and had to leave multiple messages, never returned calls. Asked to give itemized list of materials and services, which he agreed to do but never did. When I was able to finally speak to him, received multiple excuses for why he had not returned my calls. says he has a 5 year warranty on his work, but not reliable to back up his work. Not professional in my opinion.
