First Impressions is a business in the Jackson, MO area that has been in operation since 2007. Hi, I'm Kyle Litchfield, and I am the owner of First Impressions Home Improvement and Painting. I am a lifelong resident of the Cape/ Jackson area and I take great pride in every project I am given the chance to work on. I come from a long construction background and have been in the construction world for most of my life. I am knowledgeable in almost all aspects of construction and in the rare event that I don't have an answer for a customers questions or needs I have a long list of professional connections in the area that I have known for a long time to consult with depending on what the topic area is. I am also a 10 year veteran of the local fire service as a Volunteer Firefighter and EMT. I hold State Level Certifications as an EMT-B as well as Firefighter 1 and 2 levels and Hazardous Materials Certifications. I take great pride in keeping my mess as contained as possible while working on a project and I take the safety of not only myself, but also the customer and their family. I specialize in the small stuff. Unlike other businesses, I am proud to say that I do not have a service call or minimum charge for services. I have done work for folks as simple as just changing a couple of door knobs, or fixing that door that gets hard to open and close every now and again. You don't have to have a major project to need a repairman!! If you think your problem is too small for a repairman to care about, think again. Give me a call!!

Brick mailbox repairs cost about $625 on average, ranging from about $500 to $750, depending on the extent of damage, type of brick and mortar, time of year, location, and experience level of the mason doing repairs. Hire a masonry contractor to inspect the brick mailbox’s damage and recommend a repair plan. They can also provide a price estimate that’s specific to your type and size of mailbox.
Yes, it’s usually possible to repair damaged brick mailboxes. If the masonry is damaged, the brick can be cut out and replaced, or the mortar joints can be cut out and retucked. However, the new mortar will likely be different in color from the original mortar joints. In most cases, if the mailbox itself is damaged, it’s possible to cut it out and replace it. Consult a masonry contractor to determine whether it’s worth repairing your brick mailbox based on its value and amount of damage.
Typically, a brick mason will repair a brick mailbox. They can provide an estimate for repairs, which may include sourcing replacement brick, mortar, and other materials. If your brick mailbox has been completely destroyed, you should check with your local building code enforcement office to confirm that a brick mailbox is allowed in your location as some areas do not allow brick mailboxes because of the potential hazard for drivers who may hit them.
Homeowners are responsible for maintaining their own mailboxes. Otherwise, a property manager is responsible for repairs and maintenance if the Post Office does not maintain it. If you own your home, you are responsible for maintaining the mailbox at the specified height, distance from the road, and functionality.
Mailbox repair can cost anywhere from $100 to $300, depending on the type of mailbox, materials involved, and labor cost. The estimated cost of repairs also depends on whether you need to replace the mailbox post, the post’s construction, and type of mailbox. If you have multiple mailboxes, the cost will increase compared to a single mailbox.
