+ -1 moreWe were replacing the carpet in our house and had the carpet guy measure the tile floor in the master bath for a re-grout job. Our carpet guy knew Chris and recommended him. We called Chris and he bid the job based on the square footage that the carpet guy provided, he expected it to take one day. The tile guys from McDaniels Flooring came out the first day and ran into some trouble, whoever had installed the tile had not used grout, but instead Thinset mortar to and quot;groutand quot; the tile (which is why it looked bad to begin with). It took them 3 days of grinding and elbow grease to get the mortar out from the grout lines. They re-grouted with regular grout and the floor looks much better. Under the circumstances, they did a good job of not damaging the existing tile or baseboards and cleaning up the resulting mess of dust. Chris and I renegotiated the price as the job took longer than expected, he gave me his break-even cost and we went from there, but he was willing to accept the original $250 that was bid.
Description of Work: Had them remove the old, broken grout from our master bathroom floor and re-grout all the tile lines with new grout.

+ -1 moreEverything went great. Charlie was very professional and respectful, and answered all the questions I had regarding installation. The end result is absolutely beautiful, they did a fantastic job.
Description of Work: We pulled out the carpet in our bathroom, and put tile in, retiling up and around the tub as well and into the shower.
