Completed in a relatively short period. I was happy with all aspects.

Received an estimate and agreed to have Brewster replace my roof. Well you'll have to wait 2 months....OK. Didn't hear anything from the company, I had to call them 2 days before the scheduled replacement date. Bad news... can't get to it now until November AND the estimate is now $700 more. Supplies went up. So they make you wait 2 months then try to stiff you for another $700. I'm sure supplies would have been wayyy more expensive in November too. Company claims supplies across the board went up 8/17/20....three days after my estimate, yet they waited 2 months for me to call them to tell me this. Not to mention how do you miss a scheduled date 2 months in the future? Real class act, now I don't know if I'll get the roof I desperately need before winter. Thanks a lot.

Wonderful! The roofers worked continuously for long, productive days. They were kind and friendly, and cleaned up after themselves. The owner or past owner stopped by every day to check on things and speak with us. We will recommend Brewster Roofing, a family-owned company, and will use again.

The work was completed quickly and on-time. Glenn's crew arrived when they said they would and worked continuously for 3 1/2 days to replace 42 squares of roofing, 400 SF of low-slope EPDM roofing, and re-flash a chimney, 4 large skylights, and 2 second floor dormers. They installed an OSB radiant heat barrier substrate over the existing spaced sheathing to reduce attic temperatures in the summer, and removed and reinstalled our metal gutter guards on the gutters. We received 5 proposals for the work and they were significantly less expensive than 3 of them, and about the same cost as the other one. During the proposal process we learned Brewster had reroofed two friends homes in the past and they were very pleased with Brewster's work. We also are very pleased with their work and would heartily recommend them to anyone.

Glenn put a tarp over my leaking roof with no guarantee he'd get the job. He knew I as in a jam and he helped me out. Brewster helped immensely through the insurance claim process, minimizing my cost. Showed up on time and followed the predicted schedule. Cleanup was immaculate. If I need roof work again I won't call anyone else.

This company is impressive! They were extremely responsive. They checked the roof, provided a quote, and warned me that I could end up with a leak due to some flashing that had been moved (by an inspector). Sure enough, it rained and leaked into my living room. I called them to see if they could temporarily fix the leak, before I had even awarded the work to them. Glenn came out immediately, fixed the leak, and then they worked to rearrange their schedule to meet my immediate needs. Glenn even did the wood rot repair himself. The roof was completed in one day. The clean-up crew was awesome as well. I have not found a single nail around the house yet! The entire team communicated with me regularly, so that I knew exactly what was happening and when. I would highly recommend Brewster Roofing to anyone and everyone. They know the meaning of Customer Service!

Excellent. Took two days due to short working time of daylight and must complete smaller sections due to fear of rain. Their normal time is a day for a small house to two day for a normal size house. This impact to home life is MUCH better than the other companies I have observed in our neighborhood with two workers. They have of team of 5-6 workers who are very FAST and good. Excellent work, excellent clean up. The team showed up early and left quietly. Very competitive pricing compared to other bids. Very responsive family owned business. They have been in business for a long time and highly rated with Angie.

The team at Brewster always kept in great contact with us throughout the entire process. Our roof was completed exactly as quoted, and when there were some materials they discovered they would not need we were contacted on the spot and the unused portion was removed from the final bill. The team at Brewster was very accommodating when we chose a tile that was not from their usual preferred vendor. The overall clean up by the crew at completion was thorough, although I did feel that on the first overnight, while the job was still in process they could have left the work area a bit nicer -- materials not covered by a tarp, some supplies left in the yard, plywood leaning against the back of the house. The crew arrived around 7:00 on the second morning which was fantastic, because of the early start there was a significant amount of debris on our front porch blocking the way meaning I wasn't able to leave my house through the front door around 8:00 a.m. Luckily we were able to exit through the backyard. We were overall pleased with the communication and completion of the work and would hire them again!

Over a decade ago, Brewster roofing put a new roof on our home. The price was very good and the workmanship were excellent. Recently we had a small leak that was not related to their work. They sent a man out immediately and fixed the problem quickly. Having just had dealings with other repairmen who charge $80 to even come to the house before beginning work, I was surprised to find that there was no charge whatsoever. I doubt that we will be needing a new roof in the foreseeable future, but, if others do, I would recommend Brewster highly not only for the quality of their work, but also for their continuing commitment to their customers.

Brewster Roofing did an excellent job. They had replaced a friend's roof and she was impressed with the care they took with both her property and her peace of mind. At my house, they brought the materials over on a Tuesday, and two days later (at my request) they ripped off my old roof and put on the new one. They took care to drop the debris into the big bin, and afterward they swept hardscape, lawn, and flower beds for shingles and nails. Unknown to me, the materials they had delivered were about a half strip short. I would never have known. But they came back on Friday with a strip (I assume left over from another job), went up on my roof, and installed it. I am very satisfied not only with the quality of the work they did but also with their integrity.

It was awesome, they are honest, fair, and fast. Quality material and workman.

It was just a rental property that I own. It took 3 days. I wasn't there.

Incredibly impressed by Brewster Roofing. I am very critical of businesses and expect superior service...Brewster Roofing was spot on and my family and I love our new roof. They were there when they said they would be, finished when they said they would and the final job was just incredible. I've already referred them at least one new customer and don't typically do that unless their work was steller.

Called on Saturday, they called back Monday and said someone would be out by Monday or Tuesday. I got a call Tuesday advising that someone was out on Monday. While they didn’t leave a card, they did advise that the potential repairs would be extensive and referred me to a wood shake specialist. I called the specialist and made arrangements for those repairs. In the meantime, the owner called me and gave me the skinny on the issues with my roof. We had a good conversation on roofing, pricing, materials, their standards, etc. After this conversation, I am very comfortable recommending Brewster Roofing. The owner is also going to provide an estimate for a new roof (which I need).

Outstanding from start to finish. If everyone ran their business the way Mark Brewster runs his company, there would be no bad reviews. Brewster Roofing is a family owned business and they care about their customers, their work, and their people. Mark thoroughly explained everything before the work began. His son in law, Glen, was on site multiple times each day and updated us on the progress. Their crews worked from 7:00 AM until dark for 3 days until they were done. After completion, Glen personally checked the entire roof. Mark Brewster runs a fantastic business and you are dealing with the owner. His daughter runs the office and was responsive and professional in all aspects. What I expected to be a nightmare project turned out to be one of the best buying experiences I have had in many years. I asked two other local roofing companies to give me a bid (both begin with a B also). One never returned my call even though they had worked on the roof before. The other sent a salesman who turned the bid over to a manager. This company had done some stucco work for us and we knew they would send a crew that didn't speak English and had no idea what the salesperson had told us. We were constantly called by the salesman trying to close the deal. If you want a honest bid followed by excellent work, consider Brewster Roofing when you need to replace your roof.

We were impressed with the personalized attention and professionalism from beginning to end. Mark Brewster met with me initially and went over all the options, without being pushy or trying to "sell me" on anything. He just presented the information and answered my questions, then we were able to make a good decision. Since we were unsure of the color of shingle that would look best on our house, we had to call back several times and ask for samples of different products. They were always happy to drop off samples and did so in a timely manner, which allowed us to compare shingles and see them on other homes before moving forward. After we did decide on a shingle, the crew began work. We were very happy with the work they did, as well as how they behaved while on the job site. (Our home has two small children and a dog, and everyone was always very careful as we would walk to/from the car, or let the dog out.) They were friendly, polite, tidy, and respectful of all our property. (They carefully moved all outdoor furniture and lawn fences so nothing would be harmed during the process, and they also put everything back after they were finished. They didn't smoke and didn't leave trash laying around.) The job took three full days (Wed-Fri) and they came back on Saturday morning to do a full clean-up of the yard, etc. It's been about 2 weeks and so far I've only discovered one nail that was missed... and we have been looking carefully since the kids love to run without shoes on. Overall, we were very happy with the work and the experience we had with Brewster Roofing. I would recommend them to anyone, and especially for families with small children and/or dogs.

They did a great job. We had a short window of time with good weather and they could finish work satisfactorily. All were professional and thorough. They cleaned all surrounding areas of the house thoroughly after completion of work. Mark gave a special and put Radiant Heat Barrier Plywood with no extra charge. Though our house is about 35 years old now it looks almost like a new house and new Gazebo. His estimate for all work was the best among other two estimates taken from top Angie's list roofers.
