Ben is a great talker with promises that he can perform the work desired. However, that's all it is. Talk. I retained his services for two jobs. He did not finish one before starting the other and left both jobs unfinished. He employed workers and had them at my residence alone that did poor quality and returned to "fix" the work only to make it worse. I paid $600 for rock for my backyard. It was "stolen" from his possession. Why was there not a police report made? Why was my rock at his residence? Why would he think it appropriate to give me a deal in labor to make up for it? Doesn't make sense. He called me crazy and to take meds. Professional? No. This is what $3000 got me for my backyard project. It was started in late August. This is now April. Now watch Ben's response trying to put the blame on me.
Response from Beltons Best LLC
Dear Bobbi Jo,
I want to express my sincere apologies for the disappointment you've experienced with the work we undertook for you. It is never our intention to leave any customer feeling unsatisfied.
Regarding the situation with the rock, I covered the cost of its acquisition, and I also want to mention that it had already been collected over the weekend, which saved us the need to retrieve it on a Monday morning. Unfortunately, my trailer, along with the rock, was stolen. I just wanted to clarify this situation.
I must address the issue of the 'deal' in labor you mentioned, as it seems there may have been some miscommunication. The work was indeed temporarily halted due to the unfavorable weather conditions, which we both agreed on. When the weather improved, I made several attempts to contact you to discuss the next steps, but it seemed you were either unavailable or the conversations became contentious as to when you wanted us to resume work.
Regarding the brick patio you mentioned, it was something you decided to complete yourself, as you had initially installed it. However, there may have been some confusion about the design.
I understand your frustration and acknowledge that perhaps accepting this job was not the best decision given your past experiences with other contractors. It's unfortunate that we were unable to come to a resolution regarding your backyard project.
I want to extend my best wishes for your future endeavors. You are indeed a valued customer, and I hold no ill feelings toward you. I merely wanted to clarify some points that might have been forgotten or misunderstood.
Thank you for your understanding, and I genuinely wish you the best moving forward.
