Description of Work: Sam did a great job fixing a backyard drainage problem, and installed a new cobblestone patio and walkway. The hardscaping looks wonderful and there is no longer seepage into the basement when it rains. Sam's comes with my highest recommendation.

Description of Work: They replaced about 50 feet of retaining wal 4' high in my backyard. They were at my house by 7 am every mornning and work all day. They had plenty of workers there and all of them worked hard and were very curtious to me. I would recommend them to anyone. And yes I would use them again.

Description of Work: The project called for removal of some plants, grading, fill, and retaining wall. I have an area that requires good drainage to avoid water leaking into the basement. The problem, in my opinion, required someone with skill and experience dealing with drainage problems. I had four bidders and selected Sam because of his rating on Angie's list but especially for his track record with drainage issues. Sam and his crew did an excellent job, on time and on estimated cost. I would mort hesitate to recommend him and would use him again if the need arises.

Description of Work: Sam bid on a small project in St. Louis City, somewhat removed from his normal environs out West. Although his bid was reasonable, it was higher than two others I had received. The work also was less than some of the major projects he has done for others, which he showed me with multiple books of photographs. He was courteous, pleasant, and professional but the job was accepted by another contractor.

We are getting another quote, and if the prices are close, we will probably go with them. My husband was impressed by them. They answered all of the questions that we had.

Description of Work: Built a new masonry block retaining wall system for a vegetable garden perched at the crown of a hill. Removed old landscape timbers, installed gravel foundation, laid 40 pound blocks and cap system. Finished off by installing a professional grass stop and gravel edging system around the new block walls.
