Description of Work: The process of selecting a granite, receiving an estimate, and making a template for the countertop went very smoothly. We found the salesperson especially knowledgeable and helpful. There were problems with the installation and the installers had to come back and correct errors twice. The final job was very satisfactory but it took a call to the owner of the company to get a final satisfactory installation. Overall, we feel we got an outstanding look for our new countertops but were slightly disappointed that it took three trips to our home by the installers and the intervention of the owner to complete the project satisfactorily.

 + 0 moreWe love the quarts and overall are very happy with it. There were a couple of issues with the installation. One of the main seams was not placed where we discussed when the templates were made. This was not a big deal, and may have been due to getting all the pieces needed out of the slabs, but I would have preferred to have the seam placed where we discussed. They installed one very small piece in the back splash (only about 2 1/2 inches wide, next to another small piece which was about 10 inches wide. If we had noticed this before the installation was complete, we would have asked for it to be replaced with one piece. The biggest problem was the mess they left on our wood floors. We expected that there would be dust from cutting out the sink opening, but they should have covered the floors with something. It took repeated scrubbing and cleaning to get the floors looking even passable after they were done. I would definitely recommend requesting that the floors be covered with drop cloths before they begin work. Maybe someone else can benefit from our experience.
Description of Work: Removed granite counter tops in our kitchen and replaced with quartz.
