Showed up 6 weeks after they said I was on the schedule and finished 2 months late. Meanwhile hundreds of dollars in plants died waiting on the driveway. We performed much of the work because they were so late in an attempt to make some progress, which he refused to credit us for. He ignored my calls and wouldn't return them. Only called me 2 times, both for $. Kept asking him to get the sprinkler company out as part of the project and he never did (until 6 weeks after I asked him we started getting notices from the water company our water would be turned off due to no backflow testing). During this we were watering for hours everyday to keep our existing plants alive. Put clay soil in our garden beds when it was contracted to be compost garden soil. Didn't water trees in after planting, didn't reseed the lawn after running equipment over it (visible tire marks in yard), left trash in yard daily. I could go on and on about the shortcuts they took and how unhappy we are with the work!!!

Overall the pricing was much higher than anyone we looked at. They sold us on how "professional" they were and how they stood behind their work. One of the trees we had planted looked really bad and we agreed to wait until spring to see if it would recover. Spring came and I had Robert the sales person come out. He agreed to replace the tree and one plant in the bed they were in. I waited over a month and NOTHING...no phone call, no visits, no return calls. I finally sent a note in on their website to their owner on a Monday. Later that week (I believe it was a Thursday) I texted Robert to say I was going to call the owner. Mysteriously my phone rang and it was the owner saying he was returning my note. I asked him why it took 3 days to get my email returned but all I got was he was "busy." We went back and forth on the tree. He said he did come out and look at the tree and there was no way he was going to replace it since it was "good enough" and may need another season to fully look like the other 2 that I had planted next to it. I told him Robert said it would be replaced and he argued with me that it wouldn't (nice tone on an owner dealing with a customer who spent $12K on phase 1). I asked him about the dead plant in the same bed. He assured me that the plant would be replaced within a week....6 weeks later....NADA! This company will sound great until they have your money....then they take/charge lots of it. Their customer service is amongst the WORST I have ever done with ANY company all of my life. After I got through going round and round and being told in a pretty terse tone that I shouldn't be upset for having to wait more than one day to be called back, I suggested I was ready to do phase 2. Then the owner became Mr. Nice Guy...even promising me that Robert wouldn't be on the job. The unmitigated gall on this man...one minute yelling at me then being a nice guy wanting phase 2. BEWARE....they do NOT stand behind their word/warranty. You will pay more ... just have them bid out a job and then have anyone else bid the same work. Do not be fooled by their smooth talking. They will not stand behind their word and if the salesperson promises something the owner will not stand behind that promise.
Description of Work: Planted several trees and plants. Designed a plan for 3 phases of work. Phase 1 was for trees, plants and some lighting.

We had several issues with the work preformed by New Seasons. The patio they installed started cracking within two weeks. The cracks were anywhere from 2 to 12 feet long. The fire pit was they installed lop sided. The landscape lights did not work properly. When we asked for them to fix the problems, we were told we were overly critical and need to focus on what they did right. When we demand the job be corrected the owner said no and refused to honor their warranties. We pressed the issue and he told us to sue him. The sales manager in a later meeting without the owner present admit the job was done wrong and stated if it was his company he would rip out the patio and fire pit and redone the work properly. We ended up suing them. Within the first year and while still under warranty 5 trees, several bushes, and plants died. They also refused to honor their warranty for the plants. There were also additional issues with their design and plant selection. We also discovered they damaged our irrigation system and that they rewired it incorrectly when make changes to accommodate the new landscaping. We are just now getting around to posting this because our lawyer advised us to not post any reviews until after the lawsuit was settled. When we had the patio redone, we discovered they did not install any steel in the concrete.
Description of Work: Landscaping, installed landscape lights, fire pit, and expanded patio.

This work was performed in 2010 under different ownership. I am sorry that you had a negative experience with the previous owner.
