MISSOURI INSULATION & SUPPLY

I called the listed phone number to get someone to come out for a quote on insulation for two houses. The person who answered the phone did not have professional phone manners and adopted a suspicious manner with me. Not sure were that came from but my initial impression is that if they don't care enough to learn how to do basic functions like professional business phone manners, then I cannot trust them to care enough to manage other basic business functions well.

I was very impressed with Missouri Insulation & Supply. The insulation in our attic had settled a bit and I wasn't sure if we needed more. City Utilities was offering a $500 insulation rebate that expired at the end of the year so it was a good time to check. One of their representatives, Jordan Thomas, came out and took a look at our attic. He said our insulation was fine. The amount of settling was normal. Our house is chilly during the winter because of its high ceilings and wood floors so I asked Jordan about other options for insulating our house. He was very informative, helpful, friendly, and HONEST. I've had so many bad home-improvement experiences, I'm on a quest to find HONEST companies. There are a lot of "companies" on Angie's List that are just a guy with a t-shirt and a business card. They advertise that they're licensed, bonded, and insured, but they aren't. If you don't have a basic understanding of construction/home repairs, it's easy to get fleeced by some of these guys who work out of their truck and outsource the work. Missouri Insulation is a REAL brick-and-mortar company that's been around for over 30 years. It's licensed, bonded and insured, it has longtime employees, etc. When my friends and family mention they need more insulation in their attic, I tell them to call Jordan Thomas at Missouri Insulation because I know they'll get a fair and honest estimate.

Had a hose malfunction and blew a low or insulation into garage. Did not adequately clean up, Did not bring shop vac. I spent at least an hour or more cleaning up after they "swept out' the garage.

I was very satisfied with this service. Everyone who burns wood should have their flue cleaned.
