I haven't been really happy with it. Every time I call Lowes, they refer me to Scott's Heating and Cooling and Scott's Heating and Cooling says, well you bought it through Lowes. So it just keeps going in a big circle and my whole issue was the trane unit I bought is very loud. I work from home so I just wish that either Scott's or Lowes would have kind of known how loud it was going to be before they sold it to me. That is the negative part of it. The positive part is my heating and air conditioning bills have been cut in half. I wish they would have told me that the trane unit in my condo was going to be loud. Every time I try to call and deal with them, they immediately send me to Scott's Heating and Cooling. It doesn't stop me from going to the store but as far as the air conditioner, I wouldn't recommend it.

They were excellent. It was good communication and they were very prompt on going out to my place to give me the estimate.

After buying carpet from Lowes 4 years ago, it needed to be stretched. I went to the carpet dept. to ask for the name of an installer, since our installer was no longer in the area. I was told that they would have to set up an appointment so they could give us an estimate. I explained I was only in town for two days so I would prefer to just contact the installer myself so as to eliminate a step... I didn't have time to take all the steps they wanted to do! Evidentially it is a secret who does their installing! I was told the only way would help me is to do it the way they wanted to and that was just the way it was... I did go to Menards and they escorted me to an area in the carpet dept. where they had about 20 sheets of papers with installers names ... Including other services they did!! That was the way I expected to be treated at Lowes where I have spent thousands of dollars in the last 4-5 years!!

I ALWAYS shop at Lowes. I may shop around at other stores, but I always make my purchases at Lowes. They always have at least one person who is very knowledgeable about whatever it is I'm looking to purchase or accomplish at home. My last visit, I purchased a water softener and reverse osmosis water system for my well water. I went with the intention of purchasing the largest, most expensive water softening unit, but after talking with the knowledgeable sales person, she talked me into the smaller unit. It saved me over $500, and allowed me to purchased the reverse osmosis filter system I had wanted to purchase later. Lowes seems to carry very good quality products and are happy to back up everything they sell with a strong warranty and return policy. Also, as a retired Army sergeant, I always take advantage of Lowe's 10% Military Discount. Over the years, I am quite certain I have saved several thousands of dollars.

The cabinets I bought went on sale two weeks after I bought them. Lowe's gave me a refund with no questions asked. Great service again Jake in the cabinet department was a great help.

I wasn't home so he let himself and crew in and did a great job. Jim is a great installer and Lowe's carpet had great warranty.
