Went very well.

These guys are good! From the day we requested an estimate until the time the work was completed they were everything you could ask for when contracting a major home job. We dealt with their representative Jeff Carroll throughout the entire process and he was extremely professional keeping us apprised of when work would happen and what it would entail. Work crews were polite and made sure that the area was clean and orderly prior to leaving each day. Despite some extra work being needed to replace some worn/damaged areas that could not be seen until the prior roof was removed, the final price of the job was very close to the original estimate and, I believe, more than fair. Their reputation as the best in the Lake area is well deserved and I cannot recommend them strongly enough.

Above and Beyond was the only company (of 3) to promptly answer the phone and come out for a bid. I had to wait about a month in the job queue but when the job came time to complete it went very fast. This was a large double garage and the crew of 7 had it torn off, reshingled and site cleaned up in just over 3 hours. It looks great. I watched for quite a while and saw no shortcuts or missteps or shoddy work.

Did a great job. Very friendly and professional. Communicated well with us. Cleaned up nicely after the job. Was up front about how busy he was and that it would be a wait, but gave a good estimate of timeframe for replacement.

Ben answered my phone call promptly and was out to see my roof and give me an estimate the same day or next day, he emailed me an estimate promptly. When called later to schedule his company do the work I reminded him that we had talked about removing the chimney but it wasn't on the estimate. Ben agreed that the company would do this work as well. Above & Beyond roofing company arrived very early on the day scheduled and had 14-15 guys to do the work of removing the existing roof. I could not tell who was in charge and I spoke to several different men at different times when they had questions. No one seemed to know that the chimney was to be removed but they were glad to do it when I told them it needed to be done. It's a good thing I was home to make sure this work was done. I specifically asked them to not throw their cigarette butts down in my yard - even going so far as to show them where I have a flowerpot filled with sand that they could use to dispose of their butts. The old roof was removed by 11:00 and the new singles delivered while the guys left for lunch. After lunch the roof was repaired in spots and the new shingles applied by 4-6 guys and they were done by 5:30 that day. The guys did use tarps to throw the old shingles on to dispose of the trash but I later had to pick up multiple chunks of brick and pieces of shingles out of my yard. I picked up over 95 roofing nails out of my front yard AND driveway. I also picked up around 40-50 cigarette butts out of the front yard which I found very disgusting , especially after I had specifically asked them not to do this and was reassured that it wouldn't happen. I have dogs and I was worried about them stepping on or ingesting nails or cigarette butts. I have also called the company's office twice to ask for my 30 year shingle guarantee to be mailed to me and I have never received it. Pros - quick response, written estimate received quickly after inspection, lots of employees to get the roof done in one day, roof done in one day, nice employees, good looking roof when completed. Cons - lack of communication from Ben to employees and lack of communication from employees to homeowner, lack of cleaning up nails and cigarette butts after job completed, lack of response from office when I called to have written shingle guarantee mailed to me.

I got 4 estimates and went with this company. It wasn't the lowest and not the highest. I was told he'd be out the middle of October to do the job. When time was drawing near and he didn't call me, I called him. He said because of the rainy weather he's been put back and that this job would also be set back and that he would be able to do the job around the end of October, 1st week of Nov. Again came aound that time and not heard from him, I called. I was told again due to weather and rain, the job was delayed. The only problem I had with those reasons is, THERE HAD BEEN NO REAL RAIN, PERIOD, to speak of. I was told it wouldn't be until the end of Nov. or Dec. I got tired of waiting. I called the next estimate up, "Luecke's Roofing" in Freeburg, MO. More money, but well worth it, in every aspect.

we received a recommendation from the contractor we were using and contacted them. we did everything by the internet and phone since we weren't living in the area at the time. they were quick w/responses via email and phone. they were started and completed the roof in the time frame exactly as they said they would. The color and workmanship is excellent. they also did an exceptional job at clean up. we are extremely happy w/the work and the 10 year warranty that comes with.

we took the shingles off ourselves to save money. it rained that night and flooded the inside of our house. 8000.00 in damages to the house, but the roof turned out great. we our still trying to fix the damage to the inside because the insurancewould not cover it

They came early about 7:30 wasted no time. Took the old roof off and some were putting on the new. I had to have an ambulance take my husband to the hospital when they were working. They ask if they could help and when we said they continued to work. My son was there with them.

Above and Beyond roofing responded to my call for assistance the same day. They came and evaluated the situation and did a temporary patch. Came back within a week to replace the flashing and repair an area around the fire place. I thought they did fantastic work at a fair price. I have not had any leaks or problems since the repair.

They repaired roof leak. We bought house two years ago. Above and Beyond had put a new roof on three years ago for previous owner. We found out the name of the roofing company, gave them a call and they came by three times and repaired the leak on roof.

I had my roof fixed 2 years ago and ever since it has been leaky. He had a contractor come and fix the leaky roof multiple times as well his crew and he has been back. He has left mud all over my house and left equipment at my house. I called him today and asked what he was going to do to fix this reoccurring problem. He sent out two people from his crew and they had Ben there boss call me back. He called me an old Mother F****** and said he wasn't responsible. It wasn't the roof it was my house. I don't deserve to be talked to like this. I paid for a job and he has pretty much refused to stand behind his work. According to the paperwork I signed I have a 10 year warranty on the work and a 30 year warranty on the shingles. He has a growing business and I don't understand how. This isn't the first time I have heard of him treating someone like this.

The crew arrived on time 7:00 - 7:30 a.m. with a crew of 14 workers, the owner and 2 foremen, five trucks and 2 containers to haul used materials. They first removed laid tarps all around the house to catch the debris coming off the roof. Then they went up on the roof and removed the roofing of the house first. When they were down to roof decking, it was swept clean and teams went to work laying 30# felt, others cutting out bad places and filling with good wood. Then flashing and shingling were installed. Some work was done concurrently and debris was constantly being clean up by one or two men. Then they attacked the garage and well house with the same competence and enthusiasm. Near the end all those not engaged in the roofing on the two smaller edifices, picked up debris, swept the concrete and deck surfaces and blew dust away. They used magnets to pick up nails--2 hand held ones and one on wheels! They hand pulled nail from between the decking! Our driveway and road were cleaner when they left than when they arrived. All the crew and foremen were courteous and professional, even thanking us forgiving them the job. The only problem was that the satellite dish was not replaced precisely. I had to have a service man come out and re-aim it properly. This company was the low bidder on this job, but they work was top notch!

Above & Beyond are very reliable company. They came at 7 in the morning and they were done that very same day. I couldnt believe how fast and respectful all the guys were. They cleaned up all around my yard, made it look even better than it was before they started. I would recommend them to any one .

Working with Above and Beyond was a snap, I'd use these guys anytime, they were there on time, they cleaned up well after themselves, the crew was polite and took care of business as was expected..

Working with Above & Beyond Roofing was easy as spreading soft butter. They are professional and courteous. Rob Curtis and his crew were very prompt and very good at making sure things were done right and left clean. I highly recommend this company. It was great watching the type of teamwork these guys showed in working together in the most efficient manner. We ultimately recommended them to several of our friends that experienced the same type of professionalism that we did.

Requested estimate. Received 3 estimates. Above & Beyond was the middle price. Chose Above & Beyond b/c they would allow me to make payments if necessary. Performed all paperwork and sent in to insurance Company. The professionalism was outstanding.

ABOVE AND BEYOND WERE THERE WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE WHICH IS A PLUS. BEN( THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY) SHOWED UP 1 TIME ON THE JOB. HIS CREW DROPPED ROOFING OFF THE HOUSE WITHOUT LOOKING WHERE THEY WERE THROWING IT. THEY DROPPED ROOFING OFF THE ROOF AND HIT ONE OF OUR DRIVEWAY LIGHTS, DESTROYING IT COMPLETELY. WE MADE THEM REPLACE THE BROKEN LIGHT. THEY THREW THEIR LEFTOVER NAILS AND ROOFING ON TO OUR DRIVEWAY, LEAVING EVERYTHING. NOTHING WAS CLEANING UP. I PICKED NAILS UP OFF MY DRIVEWAY FOR MONTHS AFTERWARD. MOST IMPORTANT THING WAS THEY PUT VENTS IN THE ROOF AND THEN PUT THE COVERS ON. THE COVERS WEREN'T EVEN OVER THE WHOLES THEY CUT OUT. MY HUSBAND HAD TO CUT NEW WHOLES WHERE THE COVERS WERE. OTTO CONSTRUCTION WAS SUPPOSED TO OVER SEE THE THE ROOFING JOB. WHEN IT WAS MENTIONED TO THEM ABOUT THE VENT WHOLES AND COVERS, HE JUST BLEW IT OFF. I WOULD PROBABLY USE THEM AGAIN WITH THE UNDERSTANDING THAT THE OWNER WAS ON SITE.

Above & Beyond Roofing was excellent. They came when they said they would, charged what they said they would and did an excellent installation. We could not have asked for better service, and we have recommended them to our friendsl.
