My childhood home was like a museum for the year 1977. After speaking with me a couple of times, Dana was able to create the perfect design, even though I wasn't quite sure how I wanted to modernize when I moved back in. Dana is very patient and awesome to work with. I definitely recommend her

5 years later and we still couldn't be happier. Dana truly took our desires for our kitchen and bathroom and made them even more amazing. She created a space for us that we never want to leave! We truly spend most of our time in the kitchen! It's that gorgeous and inviting. She worked with us every step of the way and was very attentive to our budget concerns. AND she's a delightful person.

The work done by Dana King - Design Build Remodeling was excellent every step of the way. During the design phase, we had ideas of what we wanted done but Dana and her team elevated our vision to the next level. The final work is clear reflection of the vision established at the beginning. We were extremely pleased with the craftsmen used on the project. Their attention to the details was impressive. Even though we had workers in our house for months, every one was professional, friendly and accommodating. The budget was monitored closely. We choice to upgrade and add several things but otherwise, the project finished on budget and on time. And lastly, I think the true test of a business is how problems are resolved. In a project this size, there will always be hiccups. Dana and her team did an excellent job of resolving issues quickly, fairly and positively. With no hesitation, I would use Dana again and highly recommend them to others with high expectations for quality work.

I love my kitchen. It fits perfectly with my mid-century home and I would not change a thing. Dana and her team are great!

We were very satisfied with their professionalism throughout the process from getting a quote to scheduling and completing the project. We had decided to drop anchor here in the midwest and wanted an entire re-do of our 1991 Whittaker Ranch. Interviewed two companies. Dana King-Next Project came out on top with design and enthusiasm. She had an ‘aging in place’ concept that sold us. Complete re-do; kitchen, bathrooms. Made access easier to beautifully designed tile showers with seating, got rid of old pop corn ceiling. Nice neutral painting throughout, redesigned stairway to finished lower level. I can go on and on....excellent daily cleanup, everyday, and most important, communication via her App Basecamp that detailed what was done what was next, etc.... can’t recommend more highly. If you value your home and want a ‘showcase’ and QUALITY work, this is the place to go to....

I had the honor of working with Dana King and her team for a first floor make over and a master bathroom remodel! From the start, Dana and her team makes you feel comfortable and at ease with the entire processes. They listened to my desires and the overall look I was going for. And they also addressed every concern I had. Although any remodel is hard to go through but having such trustworthy people in my home made my family and I at ease with the adventure we went on with them and their work. And the final product is well worth the time, energy and influence from Dana King – Design Building Remodeling! I love my new kitchen and the beautiful fixtures we selected. Not to mention the custom cabinets are a dream! It’s a wonderful place to entertain and celebrate with family and friends. But I have to say my true love and what I am most excited about is my new Master bathroom! The team worked hard to making this room a truly spa like space for us! Absolutely love it! Dana King makes spaces that are the way you should live. In beauty.

Incredible work. Completely remodeled kitchen, removed that horrible popcorn ceiling. Tore out all carpeting and replaced with stylish, durable hard flooring. Opened up and completely refurbished both bathrooms with open tiled shower concept. No more one piece tub/ shower inserts that belong in mobile homes. Mist important to me on this renovation was how they communicated each and every day, what they accomplished that and what they would do the next via a mobile app called Basecamp. Every afternoon, there would be a thorough cleanup. I am fussy about communication and cleanliness. They hit a home run on all of it. The finished product is a work of art. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. This work was completed a while back and they will still come out to fix any little problems that might pop up over time. Love, love, love Dana King; her team and her company!!

Amazing. It was exactly what we wanted and was completed in a timely manner.

Their performance, from design to workmanship, far exceeded our expectations. Dana's design acumen is exceptional. She listened attentively throughout the project to ensure they captured my vision for our now lovely home. Nothing was formulaic in approach or carbon copy in result. Instead, we now have the European country vibe I have always wanted and they were able to incorporate numerous elements of Universal Design into the features of our living environment. Tall or short, old or young, standing or in a wheel chair--ALL can feel at ease and capable working in our kitchen and functioning in our master bath, and all rooms/space are equally accessible. We are comfortably ready to move into our senior years. Some of my favorite design elements include the Venetian plaster walls, special treatments on ceilings, such accessible features as a beautiful roll-in shower (many, many other accessible elements), true copper range hood and sink, built-in pub table, and the incorporation of precious keepsakes. Our home is both beautiful and comfortable.

Working with NEXT Project Studio made the kitchen remodeling process easy. From the beginning they worked with us and our budget to provide us a well-designed kitchen. Even though we had a smaller budget they didn’t blow us off like some of the other companies we contacted. They came up with a creative solution to our small space to create a functional design making our small space feel spacious. The actual process of the remodeling was great as well! They helped us narrow down our choices to make our decision making easy. They were knowledgeable about what would work in our space and how to improve the functionality of the space. Communication throughout the process was consistent and they kept us up to date on the progress. NEXT Project Studio took care of all of the scheduling and ensuring the project stayed on the timeline. There were a few delays in the process but for the most part they were outside of their control.

I appreciate my new bathroom every morning and evening. It is amazing how a renovation can improve your quality of life. NEXT Project Studio does an outstanding job and I am using them for my kitchen next.

Next Project Studio (NPS) worked with us beginning with our thoughts and ideas on what we wanted in our remodeling project to ending with the finished house that we love. They developed detailed drawings for us to approve during the initial design process so that everyone was on the same page when work started. NPS helped us cost manage on what we wanted versus what we could do without to help keep us on budget. NPS works with subcontractors that meet certain requirements and that they have built relationships with, so you don't have to worry that subs are not qualified. All workers were courteous, qualified, punctual, and cleaned up after themselves. At our house, NPS took down a wall, completely gutted the kitchen and two bathrooms. They replaced carpet and tile with wood floors and new tile in the entire main level of our home. NPS also has a 10 warranty on their work, so if there are any issues that arise, they will take care of them.

Fabulous job! Our Master Bathroom looks so beautiful and true to my vision. Next Project Studio provides very high quality work and I highly recommend their services!

Dana and her team did an excellent job. We did a full gut of the kitchen on an almost 100 year old house. The design process was interactive as Dana and her team prepared ideas, listened to our feedback and then came back with new ideas until we were at the perfect design for us and how we use the space. The demo and installation was relatively painless - Dana's team is detail oriented and insist on work done right. We were very happy with them. We have recommended them to others and they will be the first call when we are ready to redo our bathrooms.

Because of NPS, I have my dream house. Dana King was a pleasure to work with. She really listened and understood what my husband and I wanted. On our shopping trips, she made suggestions, but the final choice was mine. I cannot say enough good things about the NPS employees. Everyone who worked on this renovation was extremely professional and committed to delivering an excellent product. Furthermore, they were all very nice and a pleasure to have in my home. The sub-contractors were also very professional and friendly. There are always a few bumps when doing a renovation, but any concerns my husband and I had were dealt with immediately. Communication was excellent.

The cabinets were exactly as we requested in size, color, etc. It had all of the features we asked for (soft close doors, custom trash/recycling bin, etc.). We love them! The bathroom sink cabinet is perfect! It has a custom size/shape that maximizes storage around the drain without seeing anything. There was a small error with the size of mirror we asked for and trim work for a custom built-in, but there was no hesitation in making it right when we asked for a remake. Crew was wonderful to work with!

Slow — through no fault of the design team — but worth it. Their design ideas for the kitchen were so impressive we went ahead and had them re-do the rest of our first-floor living quarters. Then, a few months later, we had them re-do our bathroom, which was not only outdated but overly large with a lot of wasted space. They ingeniously turned it into a master bath and a separate guest bath, with lots of forward-thinking touches that will accommodate us more and more as we age. Everyone who has seen their work has loved it, but no one more so than us. Really loved working with them.

After calling and speaking with Scott at Next, an appointment was set up for an interior design and decorating consultation. I mentioned the coupon and was told to bring it to the meeting. He asked what other services I would need. I responded that I just needed a consultation for direction and design at this point. The next day I received a call back and was told that Dana is only taking jobs $30,000 or more, so they would not be at the appointment. Maybe they shouldn't offer the coupon '$99 for a interior design & decorating consultation' or put a disclaimer at the bottom - "Valid on jobs $30,000 or more".

The design team was fantastic and the lead workers were professional and very talented. We had reoccurring quality issues with the sub-contracted painting company but NPS resolved everything. All other teams were quite competent and quality workmanship. Time was not a driver for me so I let the work timeframes play out casually--am sure it might have been a little quicker if customer needed to meet a deadline. Though I thought the pricing was on the high side, at the end of the day, I absolutely love my renovated kitchen and I get the wow-factor from my visitors.

Consulting services was very well done, and I received many good ideas. Estimate for actual remodeling project was very high, so the project did not go any further than the consulting.
