Lamonte painting did a fabulous job painting 3 rooms, a bathroom and a closet for me. Everything looked wonderful. No drips, or smears on the ceiling or in any furniture carpet or anything. I will definitely use them again and the price was also awesome!

These guys are awesome! Dustin and his two team members came and did a great job at a very fair price (lower that anyone else). They made it so easy, we didn't have to lift a finger. They did all the prep work (moving furniture, removing fixtures, taping, and drywall repair). I was shocked. In the end they cleaned everything up and returned everything to its original place. They we quick! All three men were kind, professional and could not do enough for us. I would highly recommend them for any home repairs. If you have questions, call Ed Murphy at 816.347.0591. I thought it went really well. I was happy they got it done within a week. After we got moved into the house, we started noticing problems with the paint. They cut some corners, missing some spots here and there, and they even dripped some paint on our newly-finished hardwood floors. It looks like they attempted to clean it up, but instead wound up stripping some of the new finish. Also, they weren't very helpful in walking us through the paint selection process. We were first-time home buyers, and wound up choosing a flat wall paint for our bathroom. Unbeknownst to us, flat paint absorbs lots of water, so we've already had to repaint the bathroom less than 5 months later. I didn't find out until after the fact that flat paint is the wrong choice. I figured when spending this much money on a job with a professional company, they would have maybe pointed me in the right direction for something like this.

On time quality work. Answered all my questions. I am not a handy man and was looking for quidence on siding repair. Dustin and his team gave me exactly what I wanted at at good price. Will use these guys again.

Got a call from LoMonte to ask if they could get in one day earlier and I replied the sooner the better. The two painters arrived at 8AM, took 30 minute lunch and hardly any breaks and worked the full time through only stopping to clean their equipment due to our multiple color changes. Minor repairs were done up high on 15 ft wall joints. The painters demonstrated their capacity to troubleshoot tricky areas needing special attention. A lot of time was spent cleaning equipment due to multiple color changes (no fault of the painters). Very courteous demeanor, professional, diligent, and wanting to get the job done right to meet our needs. I'm very satisfied with the results, the painters willingness to fully understand our requests and always checking with me on key areas. Thanks LaMonte for an excellent job well done and having quality people at your employment.

****A++++++***** HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! ***I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THESE GREAT WHOLESOME & HONEST GUYS!!!!!*** I solicted several bids from different companies for the exterior painting of my home. Right from the start I could tell these guys not only knew their trade but were very attention detailed. They not only scrape but use an electric sander if needed. They removed down spouts before painting and replaced afterwards, remove lights and paint underneath, etc. New concrete had just been poured 1 month before & they were sooooo careful not to get a drop on my new steps and driveway. They not only painted the exterior but offered to put up new exterior lights and storm door. When they left the job site I never knew they were there (except for my beautiful new paint job) as they completely cleaned up everything-which I appreciated so much. When I had my concrete poured the workers left an awful mess (trash, concrete chunks all over my yard, etc.) so this experience was so refreshing. The guys are completely down to earth & want to not only do a great job but want you to be 110% satisfied. They totally understand the meaning of "CUSTOMER SERVICE" which seems to be a rarity these days. ****HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY****

Job went great from start to finish! Crew started with a complete pressure wash of the whole exterior. Further prep work followed; scraping as needed, removing wasp nests, removing old wiring and cables, removing vines and veg. Filled and smoothed nicks and screw holes repaired damaged areas of siding replaced damaged garage door trim. In short, a total prep job.. Then masking as needed, painted using high quality paint. Looks great!

They were great! Showed up timely each day. Worked the entire 8 hours. Offered to help with other things. Very friendly and polite men. I would definitely use them again.

I guess their punctuality and professionalism stood out to me. I would use them again if I don’t find any other option.

Nice work - one painter was much better than the other. Had to recall for some touchup and they were very fast to come back.

Dustin and Nick arrived at 8:00 on Friday. They removed items from all walls(pictures, unused nails, mirrors, etc.). and painted all rooms. They did an excellent job! I was so pleased with their work. The guys were very personable and professional. They completed the quickly with 2 hours to spare. However, the work was top quality. Everything they pulled down(curtains, mirrors, etc.) was put back up in its original place. I will absolutely use them again.

It went very well and I would definitely use them again if ever needed. The customer service was excellent! The service representative that gave the estimate was very knowledgeable and had a keen eye for items that needed to be repaired before painting. She helped us pick out paint colors and worked with our home owners association to get them approved. They were able to get our job started within a week after the bid (a huge plus, since others were scheduling a month or more out). All painters onsite conducted themselves in a very professional manner. We actually had to leave for a weekend trip during the project and I had no problem leaving them during the time (during work on Friday afternoon). In fact, we had some rain/wind over the weekend and the service representative came out and checked things out to make sure things were still ready for the painters to start back up on Monday. This meant a lot to us and indicated they truly cared about their customer. We did a close follow-up inspection and it looks fabulous! We couldn't be happier.

After I purchased a $500 voucher which was for 2 painters for a day, Lamonte Painting never contacted me in any way to schedule work.

We had our entire two story home painted. There were several areas of woodrot, including some areas around some big plate glass windows needing repair. They expertly executed the repair on all effected areas and prepared same for painting. This is one of the factors that set them apart from other contractors, as no other painting contractor that I contacted wanted to tackle the woodrot repairs on my home. They constructed two beautiful 18 foot columns for the facade of the house. They did a wonderful job start to finish on this contruction. They truly turned out wonderful and the care and effort they put into the construction of those columns was well beyond what I had expected. The house received a fresh coat of paint. The finished product was simply first rate. Marcia was the project manager and was simply fantastic. She worked tirelessly throughout the week and half the crew were working on site. Her communication with my wife and I was absolutely unlike anything I have ever received from another contractor. We spoke at least once, sometimes multiple times per day on the status and progress of the project. Marcia provided some great assistance to us in the choice of color for our house, as well as, the final design of the columns and the selection of our lighting. They even offered to come back in a few weeks to touch up once my window installer is finished installing our new windows. She advised us on many other areas of the home including problems with our sinking drive way and porch. As a result, we were able to get it mud jacked before more damage was incurred. She simply went well over and above what I had expected! I would "highly" recommend this contractor without reservation. We will be using them in the future for all of our painting and home remodeling needs.

We selected Lomonte based on rating on Angie?s list and a small interior ceiling repair/paint which was well done. Service 2nd week of October 2013: power wash and paint 2 decks on our house and repaint a small 3rd story area. Contract stated 2 years *company* limited warranty. We asked Dustin, how well the decks would hold up and were told that the new paint should hold up for about 7 years. We noticed in early February (4 months later) that the paint on both decks was flaking off. Since then we have contacted Lomonte 5 times; 4 times we were told someone would come out and redo affected areas. Last contact (promise to fix) was 4 weeks ago. Decks look no better than prior to the paint job, actually they seem to look worse. Lomonte has failed to rectify the situation in spite of the contract stated *company* limited warranty. A complete waste of money.

When I first met them to get the bid, they were early. They walked through the house with me. We discussed what we’ve done, would be and should be done.

Lomonte sub contracted out the work for both the deck and the home - had I known that this would be the case I would not have hired them. the painting was done with such poor quality that i was simply astounded as to the lack of quality and completeness. it took a full day of reviews and touch up work - ridiculous quality control. When I got up on a ladder to change a bulb after the job was done I noticed that they didn't paint the top of any part of the trim that was out of sight. The deck work was was even worse - the sub got stain all over my home, my flower beds and patio. Lomonte had yet another crew come out, cleaned the house and windows but missed spots. The bid states that it was for materials and labor and yet I received not discount for the materials, the stain, that was used for the deck (I had most of a five gallon left over from the previous effort). In short - I would not recommend these guys - all I got from Dustin was "its hard to run a business using good labor." The worst experience possible!!

We had a contract for 4 people to come out each day to do the painting inside and to work on the deck. He had trouble getting 4 people each day. Some days there was only 1 guy. Some days there were 2. How can they expect to finish my job without the people they need? The contract said for the whole interior painting would be $7,323 plus $2,300 for the basement. The deck was $2,500. He would supply the boards for the deck. I was to supply the paint for the interior and the stain for the deck. I showed them flaws throughout the house. Every room has flaws. They left everything in an unusable state. There are nails sticking up that can be stepped on. They left boards sticking up. I got hurt by stepping on them. There are too many places either they didn?t paint or they left it without vacuuming. They didn?t finish it the way they should. They left unsafe areas where they took the boards off of the deck. If someone walks there they could fall. There is an area in the landing area where a person could fall through. Since they started the deck it seems like the interior should have been done. He came out and looked and said some areas needs to be touched up. He never gave me an itemized bill, but said that I didn't pay him so they won't be back to finish the job. I paid for the paint. I was paying him every Friday. I don't have an itemized bill to know what I'm paying for. I told him I'm glad to pay for any extras after the job is done. They have been dragging this out for almost 3 weeks. I can't pay $1,000 a week since he isn't giving me an itemized bill for the extras. I've paid more than $7,323. The job as he disclosed I am agreeable to pay for. He already spelled out that amount. They didn't show up yesterday. I called them and asked why. He said because I told him I wouldn't pay any more they won't be back. I told him I would be glad to pay once they finished the interior and fixed the deck. I told him not to do any extra work without telling me first. I want the interior and the deck finished as per contract. I wasn't told each of these days would be extra. He's charging a day price, but the interior and deck aren't finished as per the contract so I shouldn't have to pay more than the contract. I'm not able to use my deck until it's fixed. I had new granite tops and stainless steel sinks installers in kitchen and laundry room. They were only 10 days old with no one came to work after installation. The painting crew scratched both sinks as the crew was washing their paint brushes in both sinks. I caught Dustin washing and told him not to wash in side the house. He claims they are plastic buckets. The circle scratches are identical to the bottoms of pail. Nick, one of the painting crew broke the ornate bracket fan bracket of one the fans of the pair in big hall. They were new replacement of water damaged home by insurance. Either the broken fan bracket or if could not get fan bracket, I want identical or worth the same fans to be replaced as you could not install dissimilar fans in one big hall.

The ceiling(s) looks terrible! In our family room and well as in spots throughout the house, you can see the old color through the paint so they obviously did not put two coats on it like they said they would. They did not fix minor nail bubbles or tape issues, or repair areas to blend with existing texture before painting. We did tell them that we were going to be replacing our floors, but they got paint on the floors (including carpet) that will not come up. I know, we are replacing it, but we have not yet and will have to live with it until we do I guess. I called Dustin to tell him we had issues and he appeared concerned and said "well, I guess we'll have to fix it if we want to stand behind what we do. We'll be out next week" And that was the last that we heard from him. I live in an older house and I know older houses have issues. I am not expecting perfection. I asked Dustin before they began the job if they would be able to fix the major blemishes, ceiling issues, nail holes, cracks, tape and mud issues and he assured me that they would. Not happy. I wonder how he received such great reviews. Perhaps lots of family or friends maybe.

We had Dustin bid on a job for us, and ultimately gave him the business. He was the middle bid (much closer to the low bid than the high bid). We gave it to him based on his professionalism, responsiveness, and price. Dustin is very personable and great to work with. His crew showed up on time, and was respectful towards our home. He did the final touch-ups himself and ensured that everything was done to the highest standard.

Very happy with Lamonte painting. He came out on a Monday and actually started the next day. Went over everything with us to ensure he understood exactly what we wanted done. They came back the day after they finished and ensured we were happy with everything and went over a few places that were a little light. I would recommend Lamonte paiting.

He did a good job except, we had to ask for caulking in one area. He should have known to do the caulking without being asked. He did do it after being asked. We are pleased with the final outcome. He and his crew were very nice, prompt and did a good job. I would definitely recommend him.

On July 6, 2013 the Lamonte crew ( a former financial worker, a carpenter who had been out of work for a year, a crew leader who was a cousin and unable to rally the crew when things got rough, and two others) showed up with owner Dustin Lamonte, and proceeded to remove all bat boards on the existing siding and prepare to re-side using lap siding on the front of the house and sheeting with bat boards on the sides and back of the house. This initial process was fairly quick and the new siding was purchased and the crew prepared to begin installation. We were told that as we were siding over existing siding there was no need for Tyvek wrap. We agreed with the exception that any place where there was no siding under an existing board that the wrap would be used prior to placing the new siding. Unbeknownst to us, the majority of the siding was not available and the crew had to wait an extra two days for the siding to arrive. One of the crew members became ill on the first day and did not return for the remainder of the project. The first sheet of cement board was cut and installed on the garage side and the crew chief told my husband that that board would not stay and that it would be recut as it was not cut properly. We became concerned at that point! The lap siding on the front of our modest ranch-style home took several days to complete as there was lots of measuring and cutting to do ( something any experienced carpenter could accomplish with few problems). Our one week deadline was slipping away..... After the siding was completed on the front, the painter decided to go ahead and spray the front of the house even though there had been little scraping and almost no filling of nail holes or caulking done. After complaining to Mr. Lamonte, the crew did make some effort to complete the front in the right manner, however the soffits were never scraped, and I saw very little primer being used on the bare wood. Every day my husband or I would discuss the job with Mr. Lamonte or crew chief, whomever was at the site. We always had concerns and they were addressed with "Yes, we will take care of that" only to find that those things had never been done even after multiple mentionings! Finally, we came up with a punch list of items that needed to be addressed and discussed them with Jason Lamonte, the contractor's partner. He agreed that those were things that needed to be fixed and he said he would take care of all of the items, however most were never fixed. As we had a family emergency, we were called away for about one week the end of July. We once again gave Mr. Lamonte a punch list with the majority of items still on the list from the first punch list. The soffits were never scraped, there was a broken piece of cement board on the south side of the house near a window, plants that had been damaged were never replaced or credited (although Mr. Lamonte had written down the names of those plants). All in all, our experience with Lamonte Painting was frustrating and disappointing. The price was right, but the service was less than desired.

Dustin dropped everything when I called and came right over to give me an estimate. He explained all that would be done. Guys showed up next week and completed in two days. House looks great
